Ghost Stories & Paranormal Encounters

I am 15, almost 16 and I moved to this house 11 years ago. Ever since I’ve had some pretty shocking experiences with the paranormal. It was just last night when I realized what these instances were.

The first instance I can remember happened continually from the ages of 6-8. I would wake up in the middle of the night, at about 1 or 2am, and have the urge to need to go to the bathroom. I remember one night the most. I had finally gotten up the courage to walk from my room, down the hallway and to the bathroom. As soon as I closed the door, voices started coming into my head. Two of these voices were male and the third was a female. It was as if I was on a game show and one of the men was the game show host. He would ask me simple questions – “What’s your name?” “How old are you?” “What are the letters of the alphabet?” And I would freak out, and go blank and then all of the voices would laugh at me and call me stupid and start swearing at me. Then I would leave the bathroom and run back to my room. Eventually I would tell the voices to go away and they would, but it made me afraid of going to the bathroom in the middle of the night.

The next thing that happened to me was when I was about 9. I woke up in the middle of the night from a bad dream, and in the dream, a woman wearing a big sun hat and a long dress was making fun of me. I woke up and looked round my room, like I normally did when I had a bad dream and in front of my door, I saw a woman with a big hat, and a long dress, then I hid under the blankets and I looked again and she was gone.

Our washing machine and our dryer are out in the garage. One night when I was 10, I walked out into the garage and heard a rustling noise from the other side of the garage. Then when I went to turn the lights on, the light went immediately off and the door shut. So I got a flashlight and bolted out of the room. Five minutes later, my mom went into the garage to get something and turned the lights on with absolutely no problem at all.

After that I got really scared and one night while sitting in my room all by myself, I told whatever was in my house to go away and that I didn’t like it and it was scaring me. Things calmed down for about two years. One thing you need to know is that my house and my church are on the same property… my dad’s a pastor.

So one night after church, I was locking up for my dad and I heard a scream come from the bathroom, which was odd because I was the only one in the building, but just to check I went and checked the bathroom. No one. I walked down the hallway again. Heard another, louder scream. I went to go look all around the church. Nobody was there.

Just about a month ago, I had another experience. I was practicing piano in the church, and I heard a voice, and I could tell it was a little girl, between 5 and 8 years old. It was frightened, yet calm, and very loud and high pitched. I had just stopped playing and the girl had said “DON’T STOP!” and was just screaming. The voice was in my right ear and I looked all around and nobody was there and it couldn’t have been a CD or anything because there wasn’t a sound system of any type.

I just wrote this because I find it interesting and you may too. I sense no danger in these experiences. I do not believe they will hurt me. They just warn me that they’re here.
