My mum, who is very superstitious, used to own a pub (The Auld Hoose). After three yearsy mum ended up selling the pub and moving into a new job.
Later in the year of 2007 the owner of the Auld Hoose asked my mum to be the manager and my mum thought of this idea and became manager. I would only have been 13 at the time of my mum first owning the pub but I still went in at weekends to help out with cleaning and stuff, still being young I would go through the back by myself to the function hall to play little games, but every time I cold have sworn there was someone there.
Sometimes it would freak me out but I just ignored it. Everyone who then worked there used to feel it too. When my mum went back into the pub the feelings got worse and people started to see things like people but only when the pub was closed.
One night my mum had a psychic in, and she told my mum that the pub used to be an old railway house and that people used to meet there. In 1845 there was a big fire and the pub was burned down but years later rebuilt. My mum can swear that these were the words that were spoken to her.
One of my mum’s staff was through the back one night and was thrown over a table, there have been witnesses to this incident. The staff refuses to go through there at night alone.
But the most scariest incident was when one of my mums local customers was in the male toilets and he felt like someone had touched him or walked past him but he was not sure. Then, a few weeks later, other people (men) started to feel this as well. Then people started to see a man walking past them out of the toilet and into a cupboard, which is impossible to get into without a key.
My mum then got the psychic back in and she said to my mum, “Yes you have a male visitor in the toilets who has always been there, he did not die in the fire but he did die long before this. He wouldn’t disturb you but you have a drug problem in the toilets. There has been young men going in and taking drugs, he doesn’t like to see this as his daughter died of an overdose. Things need to change.Once they have changed he will go away and leave you in peace.”
I Know I wont ever be going back into that pub by myself!
