Ghost Stories & Paranormal Encounters

A few days ago, July 12, 2011 to be exact, I was surprised when my Dad showed me a published item in your site a ghost story entitled “My Daughter and The Third Eye”, he asked me to read it. As I browse through it put a smile on my face, because the story is all about me with reference to my ability of seeing things.

Yeah, I am very much scared to death of the black figure that I saw as described by my Dad in the story mentioned above. It is always part of my system to keep on feeling eerie things around me as well as seeing silhouetted white object (of a human figure).

Please call me Prinsesa, just a regular high school student of one of the exclusive school at Pasig. During the past school years till the end of school year 2010-2011 it was my Dad who drops me to my school since he is on the same route going to Makati. We always leave the house at around 6:00 AM, the sun is up and it is already daylight.

It is only this school year that I requested from my parents that I would like to be on a whole day school service. Every morning of school days I am fetch at home by my bus service at around 5:00 AM, that early as I am the farthest location from the school, needless to say I am the first to be picked-up and the last to be dropped back to the house by the school service.

Across our house is an abandoned house, about 20 to 25 years old structure. No one has been using it for the past 15 years or so. It was only managed by a local care taker who cleans the surroundings and turn on the porch lights and ground level (patio) lights during night time. No lights inside as well as the second floor. (Haunted?)

Let me share to you this experience with the house that happened more than a week ago. It was a regular school day, again waiting for my bus service to arrived. Finally it arrived 5:07 AM , a few minutes late from the usual time, still the surrounding was very dark as if it is still night time. As I lead my way outside the house, I don’t know if it is by accident that I have focused my eyes on the second floor of the said house, and there I see very clearly a white silhouette figure standing by the window. (Giving me Goosebumps recalling this) . I don’t what it was. Just don’t want to hear stories on people who previously occupy the place.

Anyway, let me begin with my experience with my grand grand mother. When she was still alive she would often visit us and stayed for 3 to 4 weeks at a time. I was told she took care of me when I was still a toddler. Out of old age my poor grand grand mother pass away. As we pay respect to the dead especially our relatives we do visit their tombs during their birth dates or death anniversaries. I think It was 3 or four years ago that there was a planned activity that all the living descendants (that includes me) to be there at South Cemetery.

It was a good Saturday afternoon, no traffic, arriving at the place in no time. I was in the mood that day and a bit jolly. At the cemetery the usual offering of flowers, lighting candles saying of prayers were performed. In the middle of our prayers I have seen this white figure a few meters away from me and from the tomb. For a while it was there and then disappeared. I was sitting on a concrete slab when suddenly I felt a very cold touch on my right arm. As I turned my head that white silhouette figure was sitting besides me and touching me. It was there as if is it among the group. I am already silent that time and lost my good mood. When it is time to go I immediately went inside the car. Me and my Dad were the first to get in, I was sitting at the back. He noticed that I am very silent and asked me what’s wrong with me that I never return an answer, because the white thing followed me inside the car , I am very much scared as it sits besides me for a minute or so. Then it finally went away.

Is this really the spirit of my grand grand mother who once took care of me when I was still young? Some says that the spirit of a dead may stay only here on earth 40 days from the time of death before they go their final destinations. It was many years ago since her death. Or is it another entity posing to be the spirit of my grand grand mother? Why does it follow me inside the car?

Can anyone enlighten me on this, on my thoughts that remained unanswered. Wish that some expert on this can shed some explanation.
