Ghost Stories & Paranormal Encounters

I’ve always had an interest in the paranormal, but I’m also the type of person who needs proof that ghosts are real and quite honestly I still don’t know despite my little encounter. Could it all be in my head? Were my eyes playing tricks on me? Those are the questions I ask myself every time I think about it.

Anyway, a few months ago, I began to wake up suddenly in the middle of the night to always see this bright light passing over me. I’d wake up and look around and go right back to sleep, not worrying about what it could be. For a while, this bright light was something that just slipped my mind. Perhaps I was dreaming?

Then one day, I’d just gotten home from work and I was relaxed, sitting on my bed when I noticed my cat was acting stranger than usual… staring up at the ceiling and meowing loudly, rolling and jumping around. Was he afraid? I observed his behavior for a while before looking up at the ceiling and discovering a bright green orb hovering there. I stared at it for what seemed like only mere seconds until it quickly formed into a black line and shot into the floor. I wasn’t afraid. Just confused.

Another few weeks later, I woke up early in the morning to see someone lying next to me. This person glowed a brilliant white and was transparent. The moment I fully opened my eyes, it was across my room and floating into my closet. From what I remember, the figure looked female with long wavy dark hair. She looked at me and I couldn’t make out what her expression meant. Maybe she was in a rush to leave and was not expecting me to wake so suddenly to see her? I don’t know.

For a long time I was really afraid that this entity might return, might do some harm. But no. I don’t recall feeling threatened at all. I haven’t seen her since then. Now I’d just like to know who she is. Did she die in my apartment? Is she just lonely and wants some company? Why is she here and what did she want with me? If anyone can give answers, it would be much appreciated.
