Ghost Stories & Paranormal Encounters

This happened when I was about seven years old, so it’s hard to remember the details. (I’m not sure if these were ghosts, but they sure seemed like it). I was spending the night at my best friends house and back then she got scared easily. That night there was a light rainstorm going on, and my friend couldn’t sleep, so she asked if I minded if we slept in her moms room. I said it was okay, then we grabbed our stuff and headed to her moms room.

Everything was fine until I was suddenly woken up, maybe it was a bad dream but I’m not sure. My friend was in the middle, between me and her mom. When I looked up from where I was laying I saw a blue ghostly like figure coming towards me with a hand reaching out to me. When I looked harder I saw the ghost looked kind of like my brother, but younger. And, of course I screamed, then I jumped back and literally sat on both my friend and her mom. They asked me what was wrong and I pointed to where I saw the boy but there was no one there. They didn’t really believe me, my friend’s mom said I was only dreaming but it was all too real. I still remember the room got a little colder.

My second encounter was when I had first moved to Idaho. It was really late at night and I was talking on the phone with my best friend, who was in my first story. We had been on the phone for about an hour and it was at least 12 o’clock. Everything was fine until I heard knocking on my open door. My bed at the time was facing the opposite direction. I remember feeling a little scared because no one in my family stayed up late. I brushed it off after a second then went back talking to my friend. After about five minutes there was another knock at my door, louder, Only this time there was a breeze of cold air. That time I was scared and told my friend that I had to go. The Next day I asked my mom, dad, and two older brothers if any of them knocked on my door, all of them said no. I was truly freaked out.

My last encounter was in Idaho and it was late at night. I was having trouble sleeping, feeling like someone was watching me. Suddenly I felt something touch my foot, and hard. I shot up and looked around but no one was there. I was scared because I was only like eight or nine. So, I went upstairs to where my grandma was staying. I told about someone touching my foot, she didn’t believe but let me sleep outside her room, on the couch. I was fine with that as long as I was away from my room. After ten minutes I slowly started to drift off but I suddenly had this feeling like I wasn’t alone, so I went into my grandma’s room and went to sleep on her floor. The rest of the night was peaceful.

I had other things that happened in that house, I think they were my imagination but I guess I could write them down. One day when I was alone I heard shouts coming from upstairs and footsteps. Another was I thought I saw the head of an old man above my fireplace.
