Ghost Stories & Paranormal Encounters

Hello, I’ve been living in the same house for 56 years, and that’s my age too. Since 1966 there has been a ghost present. A few times a year, my mother would see a large white male, sitting in the north west corner, of her room. I would only hear noises, a few times a year.

In March of 2007, every night at bedtime, I felt something jump on the foot of my bed. I have a cat, so I would look down, but the cat wasn’t there. After about 5 minutes, the bed would start to shake back, and forth (head to toe) for about 30 seconds. This went on every night at bedtime, until July 2007. I went to bed, and my ankles were pushed down on hard. I still didn’t do anything. The next night I felt pressure on my left thigh. So I sat up in bed, and I could see the sheet being pushed down on my thigh. The hands where invisible, but I could see the hand prints on each side of the sheet. I moved my thigh, and the pressure released. It had my attention now, so I got up. Set up a video camera, hooked it to a VCR, and started filming myself sleep. For the next two weeks, I slept with the bedroom light on, and video taping myself. Nothing never happened, so I stopped taping, and starting sleeping in the dark again. All ghost activity stopped.

Until April 2009, I was laying down, on my lazy boy chair. I had a cover over me, I felt the end of my sheet, being tugged on. Again I thought cat, because she does do that. It didn’t bother me, then the chair started to shake, from head to toe. I realized the ghost was back. I got up and, set up the video camera, and VCR. Back in my bedroom, and started taping again. This time the activity went on every night. But ghosts are smart, it would stay invisible in front of the camera. It would shake the bed, but very light, so the camera would not pick up the movement.

By taping myself sleeping every night for four months. I learned a few things. The VCR tape recording is affected, when the ghost passes by the VCR. It cause static, like the tracking needs adjusting. I know this is the ghost, because I can hear the ghost rubbing the camera microphone, at the same time. Ghost make lots of sounds, that you don’t always hear. Low voice saying my name, taps. It seems, like it is testing me to see how low it can make the noise, to see if I can still hear it. I caught it on tape one time, and it is a black shadow. It is a
prankster type ghost. It’s never has hurt me. Just plays pranks, like moving the keys, checkbook, search, and search everywhere, only to be found later, where it is suppose to be. Turn the lamp on, open and close doors. Loud bangs, like something large fell over, when you go look everything is fine.

I talked to a guy on line, that went on 1500 ghost removals. He said, that only 1 in 5 are successful. The failed attempts caused the ghost activity, to become much worse. He told me to try, and live with it first. As I have been doing, every night at bed time I do think about, what might happen. But I figure it is going to happen, so I turn off the lights, and go to bed. It spends about 5 minutes, making noises, touching my hair, walking on the mattress, shaking the bed, pushing on the sheet, it seems like it tries everything, to get me to respond, but I don’t move. I just go to sleep.
