Little Boy in My Car

Posted on September 16, 2011

I had the weirdest unexplainable moment in my life. It all started when I was driving with my daughter to go to the service store. We were driving and of course 7 year olds can be a bit distracting, she kept saying my name to look at something. We came to a red light and I asked her what she wanted and she told me to look out the window where her finger was pointing. She said that every time we stopped she saw a little boy watching her. I saw nothing and thought nothing about it.

Later that day when we were driving home my daughter said she saw a little boy in the backseat of our car so at a red light I turned and saw nothing. We kept on driving and I could hear my daughter talking to herself. So I look back and asked her who she was talking to and she said she was talking to the little boy she kept on seeing. Then I asked her what the little boy looked like, as curious as I was now, she said he was wearing denim blue jeans with a plaid shirt. I was a little scared but then thought she just had an imaginary friend.

The next day when I was driving to drop my daughter off at her babysitters house, which takes 45 minutes to get there, my daughter was talking to herself again. So I look back in the mirror and I saw a little boy staring right back at me! I then looked back and nothing was there.

For a few weeks after that my daughter didn’t talk to herself and didn’t see any little boys. One day when I was driving out of the corner of my eye I saw the little boy staring at me! I look and he was gone! So then every now and then my daughter and I sometimes saw this little boy.

After awhile we moved to a new state and got rid of the car and we never saw any little boy after that!

    Hey Morgan.

Thanks for this account of your experience. Doesn’t it freak you the heck out LOL. I’ve had a similar experience, except it was a teenage girl. I knew the car had been in an accident (and was deemed as almost a write off) as its legal requirement to pass on the info in the UK.

So. I did a bit of digging (my area of expertise LOL as I’m a research historian) and found the car had 2 previous owners, a young professional of 28 years old and a family of whom the father owned the car, his wife and two daughters. I found this out as on the logbook were garages of where the car had been serviced and fixed. After calling them, I had information off the second garage about the family and a mechanic that knew of the family and what had happened. As he said he wasn’t allowed to give out too much information, I could find in the family’s towns local newspaper more detail. When I searched June 2007 in the media archives, I found the story. The family, on their way to their relatives caravan as arranged were smashed into by a sleepy truck driver who had been driving 14 straight hours without a break.

The father suffered a broken pelvis and shattered ribs. The wife suffered broken legs….

The daughters were 17 and they were twins. The youngest of the twins died after the impact from the truck. Her head went straight through the metalwork of the door.

I see her every now and again. I get the impression that she’s very benevolent and kind. To see her is almost a comfort.

My only regret is that I can’t seem to help her cross over. Any ideas?

    Steph xx
