Ghost Stories & Paranormal Encounters

This is not that long of a story and it may not seem that scary to you reading this, but it scared me. That being said… here goes.

In the first part of the story before I went to bed my mother and I were in the living room and she was sitting to where she had a view of the stairs and I didn’t. She said she saw what looked like someone in white on them and I laughed it off and kind of made fun of her.

I often go to bed sometime between the hours of 1:00 am and 5:00 am but this night I went to bed exceptionally early for me. I most often sleep on my stomach as its the most comfortable for me. My bed is just a queen sized mattress on the floor close to the door to my room.

Anyway, I went to bed and I wake up to myself breathing very heavily almost like panting and I feel my back spasming. It seemed as if someone had there hand right above my back causing it to do this. I don’t know how but I just knew someone was there right by my door over me. Thank goodness my face was aimed at my closet and not my door. I would have had an asthma attack had I seen someone I’m sure.

I thought of calling out for my mother because her room is right close to mine but I felt like if I were to try to call out to her I wouldn’t be able to and I knew that would scare me more and make me panic. So I closed my eyes tight and went back to sleep.

I told my sister about this the next night and she told me when she was visiting and I let her use my room she saw something in the closet. I was so scared after this that I slept downstairs in the living room for a week. It may sound silly but it was frightening.
