In Labor Help From a Spirit

Posted on June 6, 2011

This is the second story I’ve send in 1st is not published yet but as they are different I thought I’d write this one separate it’s only a quick one.

It was 5am on 3rd July 06, 5 days before my second baby was due. I woke up freezing cold but dripping with sweat. I felt sick so ran to the bath room to throw up over and over again thinking I had food poisoning. I rang my mum to tell her how ill I was and how much pain I was in. I didn’t think I could cope with my 2 year old son when he woke up. She said go back to bed and see what happens, so I went back to bed.

Lying there in agony next thing I knew I felt like some one had wrapped there warm arms around me. The pain seemed to melt away. I felt calm as if someone was right there with me. It was around 6ish by now.

At 6.30 I went for a bath and got a text from my nan telling me she was thinking of me. She had no idea I wasn’t feeling well, she’s just always been weird like that. We have family history of faith healers etc. Anyway after my bath I realized that actually this wasn’t food poisoning I was having contractions. Still feeling those arms wrapped around me helping with the pain I walked up and down the house for a while before, at 7.30, calling my mum and midwife my mum arrived 15 minutes later the midwife arrived at 7.50. I told her I had to push by 8.09.

I had a beautiful daughter on my bed at home. My mum rang my nan and told her. She was a great nan who told her that at 6am that morning she was making her bed and as she does often chatted to her sister who had died 3rd July 13 years before. My nan was asking her take care of me which I very much believe she did taking my pain away comforting me when I was alone helping me through my surprise labor.

To say thank you to her and also as my daughter was born on the 13th anniversary of my great aunts death I gave my daughter her name as a middle name. Thanks for Reading.
