Ghost Stories & Paranormal Encounters

The ghost story that I’m going to tell you now hasn’t anything to do with me, it has to do with my best friend Artemis.

My friend Artemis was about seven to nine years old when she was going with her family to a hotel for a week to relax. When they got there her family was separated into two rooms, in the one room was her mother and brother and in the other was her father and herself. The vacation with her family was going very nicely, until when the vacation was coming to an end! Their last night in the hotel was very pleasant except for Artemis.

When it was time to go to sleep everyone went to their rooms to have a last good night sleep in the hotel. While everyone was sleeping Artemis was playing because she didn’t feel like sleeping. Then suddenly Artemis started thinking about ghosts coming to her hotel room, but she thought ghosts weren’t real and she started laughing. But then it happened, while she was laughing her head turned to the door that was leading to her father’s bed and she saw a light white glow near the door, she thought it was a light from the outside or just her imagination.

She kept playing for a while but when she looked at the door again she clearly saw a white faded human shaped figure staring down at her with an evil smile on its face. Artemis got scared and she closed her eyes hoping that when she opened them, the ghostly figure would go away but her hopes were wrong. When she opened her eyes, the ghost came closer.

Then again Artemis closed her eyes and hoping this time it will go away but when she opened them the ghost came so close to Artemis that her nose was almost touching the horrifying ghost! Artemis got up and started running towards her dad’s room but the ghost didn’t go away. It was following Artemis and when the ghost reached the door it stopped following her like as if there was some kind of a dead end for ghosts or something, but still it wouldn’t go away. It just stayed there watching Artemis with its empty cold eyes and that scary evil smile.

Artemis was screaming in her dad’s ear so he would wake up and finally he did. He turned on the lights and started asking her what happened. Artemis told him everything but he was laughing and telling her that its just her imagination. Artemis turned to the door and she didn’t see a ghost but she still felt the ghost was there and still watching her with that evil smile on its face. At the morning everyone quickly packed their things and left. Luckily that was Artemis’s last night there.
