Ghost Stories & Paranormal Encounters

These stories that I’m about to tell are stories my sister and grandmother have told me that have happened to them all occurring in my sisters old room (which happens to be mine now).

Way before my sister moved out at the age of 15, from the house we still live in my sister always told my mother how something was in her room. Now things didn’t always happen, but when they did it was usually on occasion.

The way my sister had her room arranged was that there were two windows in her room and her bed was in the middle of both of them. My sister told me that one night while she was sleeping she suddenly had this urge to open her eyes, so when she opened her eyes (she was facing one of the windows) she saw what looked like a skeleton dressed in some overall’s with hair up in a ponytail looking out the window. My sister was so freaked that she couldn’t move for about like 10 seconds then she quickly covered her head with her covers. About like 5 minutes passed when she decided to peek through the covers to see if that thing was still there. She made a small enough hole in the covers so she could look out and when she peered through it she saw the skeleton thing standing in front of her beside her bed then all of a sudden it bent down looked my sister in the face and started laughing. My sister was so scared she covered herself again and managed to fall asleep. She told my mother about these incidents but of course she never really believed my sister.

On other occasions, in the middle of the night my sister would say that she would sometimes feel as if something was trying to get on top of her or “in” her. She felt like this heavy feeling on top of her and she felt as if she couldn’t talk and would start feeling dizzy. She tried very hard to turn to her side because she thought to herself whoever was trying to get on top of her obviously could do a great job with it while she was sleeping faced up but to her side it would probably be harder for it to get in her. So when she finally turned to her side the feelings she was feeling earlier left. On top of her bed she had this little shelf nailed on the wall with a cross on top of it, well that fell down and crashed on my sister. She always thought it was whoever was trying to get on top of her that got mad when my sister turned away and made that smash down.

My grandmother one time was visiting us from Mexico and she stayed in my sisters room. The next day she told us that in the middle of the night she felt as if something was trying to get on top of her or “in” also. But she turned to her side and immediately that feeling went away.

Now that my sister left her room became my room and my old room became the computer room. But since I have moved to her room nothing has ever happened to me not once since I moved in when I was 12 and now I’m 18. I’m always wondering to myself why I have never felt or experienced nothing in that room? I mean not that I would like to be scared out of my mind feeling those things and seeing things, but it wouldn’t hurt to at least see a little something. My mother is always joking saying “you probably get visited everyday by something and something is probably talking to you or touching you every night, but you are such a heavy sleeper you probably sleep through it all”. Which is true once I fall asleep I sleep real hard. If anyone may know why it only happened to my sister and grandmother let me know. just a wondering thought.
