I never had much experience or encounters with ghosts but the year was January 1st 2005. New years day was over with and my parents had thrown a big bash. There was alcohol and every one was drunk trying to communicate and stagger back home. I was half awake and half sleepy. I stayed up to watch the countdown and watch over my baby sister because I just don’t trust drunks around small kids.
Anyway my parents were going to sleep. I showed the drunks out and I made sure every one had every thing that they came with so I told the drunk company if I find anything that doesn’t belong to my parents I will give it back. I showed them out and began cleaning up. I put everything that was left at the party in a box.
I began soaking up any spilled beer or whisky and that’s when I heard it a knock at the front door. I thought maybe it was one of the party bashers come to get some of the lost items so then I remembered to ask my mom if any of the items in the box belonged to her so she wouldn’t get mad later.
I woke her up and I could still hear the knocking. It was lighter when I heard it in my moms room. I asked my mom if any items were hers. She looked at them and said this is my lighter and took the lighter. The knocking was still there only it was so medium it almost sounded louder than before. I could see someone with a hat on. I put the box down and fabreezed then I went back to the TV room to light a scented candle.
I was surprised that the person was still knocking. I ran as fast as I could to the door. I could now hear a woman crying. It made me feel bad, alcohol makes people feel violent or horney so I thought it could be a victim of being hit or raped. I felt so bad like guilty because we are the main source of the party.
Anyway I saw the shadow, it was there clear as crystal. I heard the crying of a woman and it effected me so. I opened the door prepared to hear the whole situation but as I unlocked the door and put my hand on the knob to open the door wide no one was there. I felt cold air that was new to me it made me feel wrong. The smell was like whiskey and rotten flesh that stunk up the room. It was unexplainable. I wanted to help out. I didn’t know I let a ghost in.
I didn’t have any drinks I didn’t smoke anything I was there with a full deck of cards and heard what I heard and saw what I saw I let some thing in
