Ghost Stories & Paranormal Encounters

My two older brothers have always claimed to see ghost in our house. My oldest brother, Matthew said one time when he was in his room (my room now) that he was sitting at his desk, and he felt someone tap his shoulder, turned around, and no one was there. Also, he said that he was watching TV, and the VCR suddenly slid off the TV and slammed into the wall, and, he said one night when watching TV, he saw a little boy look down the hallway at him, then quickly ran. My second oldest brother, Charlie, said he’s had two encounters, once when he was going to the bathroom, he said he saw the figure of a man, and ran out of the house scared crapless. He also saw the same figure walking down the hallway, but rather than running he stood and watched, but it disappeared halfway down the hallway.

In the room I’m in now, which was, like I said, previously my two older brothers room. Well when I was younger, about 10 or 11, I was sleeping in the room with my older brother Charlie, and the door opened and slammed 3 times, then the garage door (there’s a door in the room that leads to the garage) opened and slammed shut, then we heard banging on the door.

Well basically to get to my story, I’m 15 years old now, and this happened about a year or two ago. We shared the room that he has now, and we had a bunk bed set up so that we could look out of our doorway when laying down, and we didn’t have a door at the time, since we didn’t have one that could fit. Well my brother Matthew had moved out a long time ago when this happened, and our old friend Benny lived with us, and shared a room with my brother Charlie in the room I have now, which is across from our room. Also, our bathroom is right outside our doorway, and it has a nightlight in it that my mom turns on every night.

One night, my parents fast asleep, and Charlie and Benny were awake, with their door closed, but their light on, so you could see light coming from beneath the door. Me and my brother were talking, and then suddenly we heard a door open, then slam shut. We were wondering what it was, then suddenly a figure of a man was crawling from Charlie and Benny’s room, into the bathroom. The strange thing was, was that the figure had a green hue to it. Once it made it to the bathroom, we heard another slam, but the bathroom door was still open. “What the hell was that?” Nathan says to me, “Go in the bathroom see what it was.”

I grabbed one of our baseball bats, and creeped to the bathroom. I then rushed in and turned the light on, but no one was there. I then quickly opened the shower, and again no one was there. I then left the bathroom and closed the door shut, and when back into the room, turned the light on and fell asleep. We told everyone what we had seen, but no one took us seriously except for our two older brothers.

All of the ghost we’ve experienced all took place at the back of the house, like the hallway, the 3 bedrooms, and the bathrooms. I’d like to look up the history of the house, so if anyone knows how I can then I’d much appreciate if you could tell me. I know that my dad’s friend grew up in the house.
