When I was around age 10, I was just learning about god. I wasn’t a psycho about it, I was just a god follower.

Me and my friend Faith were playing around in her mother’s house. She lived with her mother and her grandfather. Even though she’d rather pick her father. Which was a drug addict. Her mother’s house was built in the late 1800′s. Her mother bought it around when me and Faith were about 3 years old. There was 4 floors, and 7 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. I always wondered why her mother would choose this instead of a modern mansion. Well, I soon found out.

So, me and Faith were playing in one of the back hallway bedrooms. We were playing truth or dare. When it was faith’s turn, she declared that she dares me to try and contact demons. Truth is, Faith always had a bad vibe. Even though how many times she had told her mother that she felt afraid, her mother just told her “God lives in this house.”

A few months later there was a bad call to me and my mom’s house. She answered, and then she started bursting out her sadness. We got there and there in the very back room (which was her grandfather’s room) crying. He had died in his sleep. Faith was really close with her grandfather. After that, she started trying to make contact with her grandfather. One night she called me and invited me over. I asked my mom, but my mom said that she didn’t want me going. I called Faith, then we made an arrangement for me to sneak out. Faith only lived 4 blocks away from me. Besides, she had a bike which I could ride on the handlebars. Finally I snuck out.

Faith and I were laughing and making jokes how my mom didn’t suspect a thing. She then stopped out of no where, making me fly off the handle bars. She said that she saw her grandpa standing in front of the bike like he was waiting to be run over. I hit my head on the pavement, so I was dizzy and half unconscious. We got back to her house. She gave me a glass of water. I woke up and then she said she was going to sleep in her grandpa’s bedroom. I decided to go with her. I mean, she’s my best friend. I couldn’t let her go out all by herself.

Her mother announced that it was time for bed. I kept waking up every hour because I thought her grandfather was warning me to get out because something “bad” is going to happen. I woke up faith’s mom. Saying her grandfather was in his room to “warn us” and he came back in a good spirit form. She told me the devil’s slave’s secret. There are no such thing as good spirits, because they are sleeping until god resurrects this world and the non-believers already went to hell. The spirit that I saw, was a demon imitating a good spirit. And the warning was fake. She revealed the devil’s secret. Now I know.
