Me and my girlfriend decided to take a trip to the Lake District. The cabin we had was very old and it was cold in every room all the time. As soon as we got there we put our suitcases in the bedroom and then left to go and get some food as we had been travelling for hours. When we arrived back at the cabin our suitcases were emptied on the floor. This scared us so we reported it because we thought we had been burgled.
When we reported to the owner he looked pale and told us that maybe one of the maids had been cleaning in our room and left it like that. That night when we arrived back to our cabin we seen condensation on the window as if someone was breathing on it. I was scared but I tried to convince my girlfriend it was nothing. Nothing happened later on that night but the next night we were woke up by pots and plates smashing in the kitchen. I walked into the kitchen to see plates and pots and cups in the air and just dropping; it was like they were flying. My girlfriend was screaming and every time she’d scream, the pots and plates would drop more aggressively.
I new there was something up with the cabin so me and my girlfriend went back to the owner to report it. The owner sat us down and told us we weren’t the first to witness paranormal activities in the cabin.
After a traumatic two days, me and my girlfriend decided to leave. When we arrived back home ghostly activities were happening. We were woken up almost every night by loud bangs, smashing noises, our dog wouldn’t settle and our belongings would disappear and then reappear after a few days.
Before we went to the Lake District we never had these kind of things occurring. We figured that the ghost from the Lake District had followed us. To this day ghostly activities still happen to us in every house we move too.
