Ghost Stories & Paranormal Encounters

When I was younger I never believed in ghosts. My mom always told me don’t believe that type of stuff until I see it for myself because ghost aren’t real.

Well one day I experience something paranormal at my best friends aunt house. It all started on a cold night that I spent the night over there. My best friend’s aunt just moved to the house. I was excited for her and I wanted to take a look around when I got there. I looked around the house and went into the basement. When I went down there, it was this old bed with the sheets half off. It looked weird to me because I was wondering if she just moved in why didn’t she get the old things out the basement or whoever left the house for sale.

Well anyway, that night her aunt left to go out and said we had to babysit her two sons. Later that night we put the kids to sleep and me and my best friend started talking. I mentioned to her about the bed in the basement. She said lately her aunt been acting weird and said she’s not going in that basement because she doesn’t feel right when she go down there.

Later on like around 10 pm I got into the shower and washed my hair. Before I got in I put my hair bow on the sink. When I got out it wasn’t there. I thought I was tripping but I wasn’t because no one came in the bathroom because I had the door locked. I didn’t pay attention to it. I left it alone. Like around 12 midnight, me and my best friend went to sleep.

I got up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. When I was coming to lay back down she told me not to leave the light on, so I turned it off. Shortly like around 2 in the morning she got up to get something to drink and woke me up and said “I thought I told you not to keep the light on, my aunt has to pay electric”. I told her I didn’t and we started arguing over the light. I left it alone and we both went back to sleep. She was asleep after a while.

I couldn’t really sleep because she woke me up and I was just sitting up by myself when I saw this dark shadow walk pass the kitchen and the dining room. I thought I was tripping until I saw it again. I woke my friend up and told her what I saw. She acted like it was normal and said “oh don’t worry I see that all the time, that ghost doesn’t bother anyone”. I thought to myself” easy for her to say.” I never seen anything like that so I freaked out and told her that was her aunt didn’t want to go back in the basement she probably saw it too.

The next night these weird things started happening, like it kept getting cold in the house and the fire place was on. Things came up missing, we heard noises. I left the couple of nights later, and didn’t ever go back there. I even left some of my clothes but I was too scared to even go back.
