My sister, Chelsea, when she was 16 was in a bad car accident where one of her friends was killed. The year before my Aunt and my Uncle Hubert gave her a necklace with a dove that hung not very far down the neck on it for Christmas (which she never wore until the night of the accident). Sadly, a few months later he died tragically from a heart attack.
After the accident, while my sister was in the hospital, some people went to the crash site to bring the van to a junk yard. In the smashed van they found my sisters necklace which was too short to come up over her face and out of her very long hair, yet the necklace was completely done up and just lying there on the floor.
Because the necklace was far too short to come off by itself my sister and all of my family still believe that it was a sign of my uncle protecting my sister in that crash.
