Hello, I recently bumped into an old friend who I hadn’t seen for months. He knows that I’m interested in all paranormal and decided to strike up a very interesting conversation on UFOs and ghosts. We spoke for hours and the time flew by.
He then showed me a photo on his camera that he insisted he’d taken of his friend Jenny and her Aunty in a local old pub. In the upper left corner we can see a very bright anomaly shaped similar to a face, possibly with horns! He swears the strange luminous object wasn’t there when he took the photo, and to prove to me this was so he offered to drive me approximately two miles to this old inn.
When we got to the pub we got a drink and he walked us over to the exact spot where the photo was taken (on 15th March 2009). We even took another several shots from the precise angle but nothing unusual occurred!
The strange thing to me is this anomaly even seems to cast a very large shadow. Can ghosts/apparitions cast shadows? Anyway I thought I’d share this picture and see what comments and interest it may generate. Many thanks and regards Col Foster, Wordsley, West Mids.

i love seeing ghost pics,but it doesnt look like anything,just a glob.I just hope this one isnt a fake.i was so disapointed with the other one,even though it was a fake i still liked it.but this picture sorry i cant see anything just a glob of bright white nothin.but if you do have any other ones please put them up.sorry.thanks for the pic though.
My guess would be that a part of the photographer’s sleeve and arm got in front of the lens when the picture was shot.

it looks like the lower part of the head, like the mouth and the nose with the neck. It also looks like a hand. But then how come it makes a large shadow?
i still think its nothin.but thats me.
the shadow could have been caused due to the camera flash/…if flash was even used!
Hands cause shadows.. That’s not a big shadow, that’s a close shadow.. I’m ganna agree on the flash theory too…
I would have to agree Caretaker.. Looks like someone was trying to give the camera a thumbs up and got to close….
i looked at the pic again before i logged off it looks like a shadow of a hand if you look at the shadow by the lady in the gray thats just mee.
I don’t think the picture shows anything paranormal, just something that got in the line of fire, it looks like the photographers hand to me.

It doesn’t look paranormal to me but it does look like a hand.
It actually looks like the side of someone’s face( a real person and not a ghost), I see the mouth and nose. or it could be a hand with a ring on the finger
It also looks like a hand to me. A clenched hand, you can even see where the little finger is.
If you look at your own left hand clenched with your fingers facing you, you will notice how the bumps of your knuckles get smaller as you get to your little finger. Just as they do in the photo.

Hi guys, who knows? Maybe its nothing, i just wanted to hear your oppinions.
I know its not a ring though on a hand because my friend had a nasty accident years ago jumping over a fence, his ring got caught and he nearly lost a finger. Hes never worn jewellery since.
Sorry if this disappointed y’all but i was just a bit perplexed as to what it was.

It looks like a hand with a ring on it .. you can even see part of the sleeve. I looked at the picture before reading the story and didn’t think there was anything wrong with it.

Yeah that’s defininately not paranormal. I just tested it myself by making a fist and using flash. But thanks for the picture anyway.

i went to my local pub the other year and encountered somthing similar . i took a pic o mum and sister ,and in the bottom right hand corner of the picture was a bright light ,and you could actually see the eyes mouth and nose very faintley . it was x-mas ,and about 10pm and we were the only people down there (my mum ,sister ,me and aunt who owns the pub) . you can see all 3 of them in the pic ,and my left arm was in a sling ,and my right arm was taking the pic.
the eyes were green ,and there was a faint red line around the neck. i asked my aunt the next day ,and she told me the story of someone being hung on the beams on the cieling .
i would like to see the pic.you should post it up.

the pub is called the victoria and albert (v and a) ,in stoke gabriel ,devon ,england ,but 8 months ago it was soold and turned into 4 houses ….. i will try to find the memory card with the pic on it ,but we recently moved house ,so it may take a while to look through all the boxes 2 find it ,so i will try my best ,but a can’t make any promises .

it didnt cast a shadow… its actually a hand or sleeve or sth of the photographer that has blocked the flash as well and that why you see that as a shadow.
It could be the photographers or somebody else’s hand-was there a flash?if there was then that cast the shadow….unless of course-it could have been a real haunt!
It’s quite obvious it’s a hand accidently covering some of the lense. You can see the sleeve/cuff.
it looks like a hand to me if u look at the out er oart it looks like knuckles.
I would bet on this, it is someone else’s knuckles. It looks just like a hand with the fingers bent the other way and we are looking at the knuckles!!!!
I’m pretty sure it’s a hand as well.. but it kinda looks like an angry rabbit boar.. Maybe my mind’s just over-reactive, but this picture made me tweak out at first glance. And that rarely happens.
