Grandmas House and the Spirit that Hid in the Garage

From the time of infancy to my fourteen years of life, I was raised by a single father. He always partied on the weekends so my Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays were well spent with Grandma Ly. I grew to love and hate her house at the same time. Ironic huh?

Well, I loved that house in the daytime. The energy was so positive and life fulfilling and happy. Grandma had big tree’s to climb in the front yard and had lots of running space in the back yard. She lived in a peaceful suburban neighborhood with nice people, which was a different setting from the ghetto apartment that me and my dad lived in.

The Tall Shadow Figure and Footsteps on the Stairs

So my husband is an atheist and had absolutely no belief or interest in paranormal… until about 2 weeks ago. He states he woke up in the middle of the night because I was breathing “weird, as if blowing out b-day candles.” He said this happened twice so he knew he was awake. He went to wake me up and then out of the corner of his eye he suddenly saw a ceiling-tall shadow figure lurking in the corner of the room by the mirror. What really freaked him was that it responded like a person would and when it realized it had been spotted it took off super fast out of the room into the hall. The Tale of the Wicker Spoon

This is my third story on this site, unfortunately I have no specific dates for the events which follow.

When I was younger I was always afraid to go in my mothers room, during the day it wasn’t so bad but I felt uncomfortable as though I was being watched.

One night (I think round Halloween) my sister told me a story about a woman who had given to her a wicker spoon as a gift which she hung on the wall in her kitchen.

That very night she woke up to the sound of children laughing, the noise was coming from the kitchen. She got up to see who was in her house, when she entered the kitchen she saw several small children all of them faceless. She fainted at the sight of them and when she finally came to it was morning and the children were gone. After that she got rid of the wicker spoon.

My auntie had passed away a few weeks ago, just before we went on holiday. I went on holiday with my younger sister, my mum, dad, nan and granddad. Anyway when we were on holiday my and my sister had to share a bedroom but after this started we were glad we had to.

Every night when we were in bed we would both see a white circular thing at the bottom of my sisters bed. We got really scared so shouted at our mum. She came in and we had told her what we had seen and she told us that maybe it could be our auntie, but as a joke. I was thinking about it all night and then in the morning when I had got up I remembered about it, but I tried to forget.

The Anguished Man

Hi, I have recorded some new footage regarding The Anguished Man. I recorded some strange light anomalies.

I set up the video camera again in the spare bedroom to try and catch some more of the activity on tape. I recorded over four consecutive nights for seven hours each night. After looking through the footage I found several strange light anomalies. At the time these were recorded everyone in the house was sleeping, there are thick curtains up in the bedroom so it can’t be light from outside. There was one small lamp on in the bedroom at all times.

I also recorded many noises, such as bangs and scraping sounds but they were similar to the sounds in my previous video so I have just uploaded the light anomalies for now. My Job Was Haunted

Hi my name is Martica and I’m 20 years old I worked at my family restaurant since I was 15. When I first started working there wasn’t any activity. I don’t really remember when the activity started but I remember when I was 19 that’s when the activity was more intense. It made itself more known.

We would always be breaking glasses, glasses would fall off the bar rack by itself, a big bottle of liquor fell off a shelf and almost hit a bartender. The bathroom stall would always be broken no matter how many times you fixed it. In the basement, where we kept our inventory, the waiter and manager will hear someone calling their name.

Haunted Hampton Inn Chicago Crestwood

During mid January 2011 I traveled from Detroit to Chicago to work on some machinery at a local plant. On the second day of my trip I wrapped up at the plant and couldn’t wait to get back to my hotel: the Hampton inn Crestwood on Cicero Ave.

Upon arrival and watching television I turned off the lights and laid on my side waiting to drift off to sleep. Immediately after closing my eyes, I felt as though I was not alone or someone was watching me. I rotated my head to the left and saw something extremely dark waving in front of my eyes. After lifting my head up a little to get a better look I realized that it was not the blankets waving or anything.

I quickly rolled completely over to the left and I saw a dark mass quickly back away but remain beside the bed.

Haunted by a Vampire Ghost

I believe I am haunted by a vampire ghost. I think it came into my family from when my great aunt years ago performed a séance in our home. I was about 9 years old when I was staying overnight at my grandparents house when all of a sudden this bright light came in from my window. I was sleeping in the loft upstairs in their house. She spoke to me saying that she came in this world from a séance and had been watching me. She said that she would protect me.

Shadow Man With a Top Hat

This is an experience that happened 6 or 7 times, in fact so many that instead of terror I would feel anger when I saw him and eventually I refused to sleep in the basement. Even in college. It started when I was 14. I woke up for some reason and I couldn’t move. I was absolutely paralyzed but I could look around, think, blink, just not move my body. I looked towards my feet and at the foot of my bed was a shadow man, all black, with a black top hat on. I couldn’t see any details because he was completely dark. Like the absence of light since it was 2 a.m. and he was darker than the surrounding room. He just stood there not moving at all. I don’t know how long I stared at him, but I finally was able to move. I bolted up and he was gone.

Fire Balls in Mexico Mountain

My dad sent me and my two brothers to Mexico to live for a year. It was Christmas. We were making a fire with my cousins and brother when we looked at the mountain and we saw a fire ball. We told our cousin, “look a comet!” My cousin laughed and said, “Stupid American you just don’t know that’s a witch but don’t worry just don’t take pictures or bother it, it lives in the cave,” then the fire ball circled the mountain two times and disappeared into the mountain.

I ran and told my mom what happened. She told me its okay its Mexico. I freaked I wanted to come back home to the states.

Wondering if My House is Haunted or Not

I’m wondering if my house is/was haunted or not, a few little things have things happened some could be explainable but some not. It’s not an old house and when we moved in we were told it hadn’t been a family home in a while but working people had been living here with room mates. We’ve lived here for about 8 or 9 years.

One night in the house were my mum & dad, my sister and I. The Handkerchief

This is a short story my dad told me, about something quite unusual that happened to my auntie and step uncle.

One day, a few years ago now, my auntie was ironing my step uncle’s father’s suit. He had not long died, so she was ironing it ready for the funeral. My step uncle’s mother had also not long died, so my auntie was trying to help out with everything the best she could.

As she was completing ironing the suit, she found a handkerchief in one of the top pockets of the jacket. She mentioned this to my step uncle and asked him if he thought she should fold it up neatly and put it back where it belonged, or leave it out altogether. The question is what would my step uncle’s father have wanted?
