Paranormal Sleep Paralysis

I have been experiencing sleep paralysis for probably 3 years now. I’m almost 18. I can’t remember the specifics of the first time it happened, but I know it scared me. I still experience it, usually every 1-3 months, but it used to be every other week.

When it happens, I can feel myself start to doze off, which is strange in itself for me, because sleep usually comes very slow to me, and I never feel it coming, except during these dreams, or whatever they are. I feel my eyelids growing heavy and as soon as they close, I fall into a dream like state.

I have read lots of stories about sleep paralysis and the hallucinations people sometimes have, but my experience is always different from everything I read. For one, the paralysis begins as soon as my eyes close and I “fall asleep”. I don’t know if my eyes are actually open or not, but I can …

I Need an Answer Please

Hello my name is Destiny I’m new to this but I just wanted everyone to know what my husband and I experienced oh and I’m very sorry if I don’t know how to explain things right cause I really cant but here it goes…

My Husbands Experience

So the other night my husband got home from work and took a little nap. Well just as I arrived from work I walked into the room and woke him up because he was making this weird moaning noise. Well when he woke up he was trying to catch his breath as if he was running and he told me what he dreamed about, he said when he got home from work exhausted he lied down and he says all of a sudden he felt this heavy pressure on his chest and he says he wanted to sit up but when ever he tried to move he couldn’t he says he felt like …

Weird Dream and Sleep Paralysis

This didn’t happen that long ago… Not even a year. It was a Sunday, and I had just gotten home from spending the weekend with my dad and step-mom. I remember having my best friend over that weekend… And when I laid down to sleep, I started having this weird dream that she was kissing me on the chin. I roused a bit…

You know that feeling where you’re awake enough to know what’s going on around you but still slightly asleep and dreaming…? That’s where I was at. I was still having the dream where my friend was kissing me, but at the same time I realized I could actually FEEL something touching my chin.

I tried to open my eyes and couldn’t. I couldn’t move at all, and there was a pressure on my chest, like something was holding me down, and I could still feel someone kissing my chin. I started to freak out, trying to move. …

Black Shadow Figure Sleep Paralysis

In my mothers side of the family they get premonitions when people die. I can’t remember if anything happened to me before 8, but I do remember that I was always terrified of the dark and being alone. At that time I also participated in a few games of Ouija. (Ouija Board).

We moved to another country and when I was around 12 I started to wake up and then there was a black shadow figure right next to my bed. This happened about 3 times that year and I was only mildly paralyzed and not afraid at that moment. I don’t know why, but I always tried to reach out and touch it, then fell asleep. My mother says she saw it in my bedroom’s doorway once when she went to the bathroom.

It happened a few times more during later years. Just mildly, but at 17 during important exams it happened continually and it was different. I didn’t …

Held Down

I’m not sure what to make of what happened early this morning, but in our spare bedroom both myself, my father and on one occasion my friend and my boyfriend have experienced sounds of footsteps. My dad has actually seen the figure of a tall man dressed in black cross the landing from the living room to the spare bedroom.

My boyfriend left early for work at 6:30 this morning. After he’d gone I soon fell asleep only to be woken up an hour or so later by a very strange feeling not long after my parents had woken up for work. I was lying on my left side and all of my body except for my left arm was underneath my duvet. All of a sudden I felt two ‘feet’ either side of mine, followed by an unseen force pinning down my entire body either side of me. The only part of me I could move was my free …

Sleep Paralysis and a Demon

My first encounters with the paranormal are explained in my first story “My First Experience with an Evil Entity

I experienced sleep paralysis for the first time early this year and I hope it will be my last.

Shortly before moving into a new house I was sleeping one night and I woke up in the new house that we were moving into. I was lying in a bed in a room and everything was all dark and I was totally paralyzed. Even though I couldn’t see a thing I somehow knew an evil entity was in the room with me. Then my body began shaking violently and this went on for a while. This was really horrible.

I was terrified I didn’t know what was going on and what was harming me. I felt like I had this sixth sense that could read the evil entities mind and I knew it wasn’t going ‘kill’ me but It …

Shadow People and Sleep Paralysis

I’m in my mid 30s. About two years ago I moved in with my girlfriend to a house, right away I felt like if something was following me around. It was a two story home and all the time as I left early to work I would get goose bumps all over my body all the way to the front door.

Also on approximately 10 times I had sleep paralysis, but never thought of anything it was scary at times but I would pray in my mind and it would go away rather quickly.

On one day as I was leaving to work as I was going down the stairs I didn’t felt that presence following me. I felt so relieved, but as I was about to open the door the goose bumps flared up from head to toes and as I opened the door I noticed a dark human figure looking right into the trunk of my car. We …

Visit from the Dentist – Sleep Paralysis

Probably the scariest experience I have ever dealt with happened January 2006!  I was in Norway House, Manitoba working construction for a couple weeks.  It was on or about the 6th day that I’d been out there.  We finished work for the day, and had gone to the restaurant where we frequently ate after the day ended.  It was about 9PM when we got back to our hotel and went to our rooms to shower and what not… After I was done I went downstairs to rent the VCR because the TV’s weren’t PS2 compatible and I didn’t have an RF switch.

The girl working at the front desk was talking to another girl that must have been her friend, and the girl kept looking at me and looking away..  I was kind of flattered but felt a weird sense at the same time cause when I turned to look as I was walking away the front desk girls friend …

Odd Experience

This story is from when I was a young girl, can’t remember exactly but I believe I must have been five or six years old. My brother is a year and a half younger than me, and at the time he used to sleep in my bed a lot because he would have nightmares. My parents hadn’t yet taught us about religion, so I had no concept of god, Jesus, the devil, or good and evil I guess? I also was too young to have learned about ghosts or anything of the sort. But I honestly can’t explain what really happened to me and my brother this one night.

Anyways, my brother and I had gone to bed (in my bed). For some reason we both weren’t able to go to sleep right away, which is strange for my brother because he could fall asleep almost immediately. We were both laying awake in the dark for some time (a half …

Out of Body Out of Mind

Let’s talk about Sleep Paralysis. For those that have experienced it, it can be the creepiest thing you have ever encountered. It’s a feeling of being trapped by a force not visible to the eye.

When I started getting Sleep Paralysis, It was usually a certain time of the month. (no, not the lady’s cycle.) Whenever the moon was high enough until the wee hours of the morning, it would cast a light across some part of my body. Every time, I would get up, go to the bathroom, and lay back down and instantly feel paralyzed. As if something had my soul in a vice grip. I will not admit to seeing anything, as I must have seen a lot of things that may or may not have truly been there.

That went on monthly until I moved out of that room, and into the other room across the hall. Everything was fine, until one night, It happened again. …

Putting an End to Sleep Paralysis and the Paranormal

I’ve always experienced sleep paralysis. It started when I was a kid. I’d wake up, paralyzed, hearing unorganized noises, which make me imagine things. Most of the time when this happens, I want to go to my parents’ room. I see myself doing this and then I’m fine. After a while I wake up again paralyzed, realizing I really didn’t go to my parents’ room. This tortured me all throughout my entire schooling years. When I’m studying all night, I take a break at around 2:30, then wake up at 4 am. During 3 am I often feel like I’m being watched, strange noises, shadows moving about in my peripheral. I’d say I was quite delusional caused by my fear of 3 am. Case of the chicken and the egg. Prayer always makes it go away though. Sometimes it’s hard, sometimes it disappears quickly. Other times I feel like I’m fighting for my life that if I don’t pray hard …

Ghosts Demons and Sheba

Well it all started for me when I was just 16 and I had a brother of 13. I had a dog called Sheba, she was a black cross terrier and spaniel, I loved her to bits she used to sleep in my bedroom every night, always against my wardrobe. It felt comforting most nights because I knew she was there and I knew she loved me in a way but she was old and she became ill and started losing the use of her legs, she had some sort of abscess in one that could not be cured and at the age of 14 the vet didn’t see that she would cope at that time in her life. The thing was she had been with me all my life that I remember and I didn’t want to let her go, but one day I had no choice it was up to my parents they woke me up one morning …
