Ghost Stories & Paranormal Encounters

Ok so lets begin at the beginning. My mother grew up in Phoenix, Arizona with four sisters and two brothers in a very strange house. These are small stories that she has told be throughout childhood.

Her house was built into a circle. starting with the living room then the hall to the family room, two bedrooms and a bathroom. which lead to the master bedroom which lead to the kitchen and back into the living room. My mother said that there where three kids that road around the house on little tricycles. they would end in the kitchen with one falling off and then all of them disappearing. this would continue almost every night.

She also stated that there was a man in the house too that would stand in her and her sisters’ doorway. The youngest daughter did not believe any of the kids until one night She saw the man at the door. She pulled her covers over her head since it obviously scared her. thinking he was gone. she removed the covers to find him right over her staring at her. She never denied ghosts being real again.

My mother also told me that when my grandmother was a young girl walking to school, they had to always cross a bridge to get to the other side of the water to get home. she said that a person in the town had died that everyone knew. (small town in OK) she said the next day her mother and a friend where walking across a bridge when her mother saw a coffin float down the water with a hand waving at them. Now of course this seems really unreal to me so I never thought it to be true, or possibly that the story is so old that my grandmother or my mother did not remember it so well, since my grandmother was very young when it happened and my mother was very young when she told her.

My mother also told me that some of our ancestors were witches that where killed. of course I don’t quit believe this since there is no evidence to support it.

I of course never in my life wanted to ever see ghosts I swear to no end to never see one since they scare me so. we did end up in this house in Mesa, AZ that was pretty crazy. my mom said that there was a girl in a school girl outfit and a man that where in the house. they apparently hung around down the hall in-between my room and my brothers room. off course I never saw anything. but I did here something. one night I was laying in my bed which is next to the wall where the hallway is. I was laying there and suddenly heard a man and a woman fighting then run down the hall. I then hear what sounds like the shampoo bottle being knocked into the bathtub. Thinking that my mom and my step-dad where fighting I got up to investigate. only to find out no one was up and no bottle in the bath. It freaked my out so bad I made my younger brother stay in my room with me. the next day I rearranged the bed so that it was on the wall towards the backyard instead of by the hall.

Another time in the house we where all in the kitchen cleaning and cooking some food. my step dad was out barbecuing. he came in and started to go into the living room, when he ran back in the kitchen quickly with a sort of jumping motion. we asked him what was wrong and he said that someone was sitting in his recliner and it scared him. of course we where all in the kitchen so it couldn’t have been us. we looked but nothing was there.

Now moving to my son. from the time that we moved into this apartment to the time we moved out my son was having some very upsetting problems with an entity. we lived there from the time he was one years old until he was three. he would always have the worst night terrors. waking up screaming and clawing at me to get into my bed. he would just stare at the door wide eyed and scared. he was so young so he couldn’t really say anything but no, no, no. over and over. as he got older he was able to tell me more. we would wake up screaming and grabbing at me. he would point at the door staring saying the bad man, the bad man. I later, when he was older and able to better communicate with me, talked to him about it and he told me that a bad man with a dog hated him. he kept saying he hates me, he hates me. We finally moved and after that he never had problems again. unfortunately do to this my son is very, very afraid of dogs and will cry if they even lick him. I feel so bad that it damaged him this much.

So there are my stories there are others but I can’t seem to remember them at this time. The stories about my family I cannot say are true since I did not experience them. but what I had experienced myself was very real to me and unfortunately very real to my son.
