Ghost Stories & Paranormal Encounters

I Live in Peterborough, Ontario and I have been living here for 12 years now (I’m fourteen now, I was two when I moved here.) The first day I moved here I had a feeling that we weren’t the only “people” in the house. It felt like everywhere I went I was being followed and watched.

It hadn’t been a week since I moved in and I had my first experience with one of the spirits in my house. It was late August in 1997 and we had people over to celebrate my grandpa’s and brother’s birthday. When I decided I wanted to go outside. I had been outside for ever playing with my friend Allison. I knew right away she wasn’t imaginary because you can’t see your imaginary friends. Allison asked if I wanted to play tag and of course being a kid I said yes. I don’t about this part but my grandma told me of it.  My grandma came out to get me and called me for about a minute and when I didn’t come she walked around the house and saw me playing tag with someone. “At first,” she said, “it looked like you were playing with and “imaginary” friend. It wasn’t until I asked you who you were playing with that I knew she wasn’t Imaginary. You even asked if she could come to dinner!”

Another experience I had was when my sister,who comes down ever summer to visit me (she’s younger) and I were lying in bed when I woke up with a feeling of being watched and, at the time my bed was under my window, when I looked up I saw the shape of someone wearing a hat standing outside my window. Scared I woke my sister up and she saw it too. I gathered up all my courage and looked out the window and saw nothing but the shadow remained. Scared we pulled the blanket over our heads and tried to sleep.

My other experience again was with my sister and we were lying in bed talking about the show we watched, of course it was a show on ghosts because we were so interested in them, when the bed started to shake. Both of us were up out of bed and in the living room in no time.But the experience didn’t stop there. We were just dosing off when we heard a noise and my sister said “Nikkita, Brian’s closet door just opened!” We both just laid there as still as a piece of wood. All of a sudden the light, which was turned off and not on a timer, flicked on and the VCR went  Play stop play stop for about two minutes.

These last experiences was my brothers.

My brother sleep speaks. One night he told me to get out of his room, because he saw a little girl, and the little girl he saw just vanished

His other experience was when he was lying in bed just dosing off, he accidentally left his closet door open which he never does, and his guitar was thrown at him from inside the closet.

I have always and continue to have contact with spirits, not always can I see them but I can hear them.I can also pick up on peoples feelings. The problem is no one believes me so there is no one to comfort me or to be there is something happens.
