Ghosts in My Life that Wont Go Away

Posted on December 21, 2010

When my family and I lived in Sierra Vista Arizona our house was very haunted. One time my little sister, she was two at the time, was taking a bath. My eldest sister had been playing on the computer she was about fourteen. I would have been nine. I recall I had been laying on the floor with my one year old German Shepherd Rottie mix, when my little sister screamed. My older sis and I ran to the bathroom were she had been taking a bath and the lights were off. My sister was still screaming when the lights were turned on.

When latter inquired about what had happened she told us that a tall black man (almost as tall as my father who is at least 6 feet tall) had come in and turned the light off on her. I have always been able to sense ghosts especially one ghost. He is tall, about 6″5, and he wears a black jacket, white shirt and jeans and he carries a knife. His face is cold and mean but I never get a negative feel for him.

When in Arizona when my eldest sister and I got in fights she would lock me in our play room which had sliding glass doors that went inside and a glass door that went outside. He would take his knife and ‘tap tap tap’ on the glass door that led outside. I know think he was trying to get my attention I would scream scared and would bang on the door trying to get inside.

Now that we live in New York I see ghosts more often and hear them more often than that. The same ghost now walks up and down the hallway my bedroom is in. There is also a young girl that I see frequently, she has mentioned her name is Amber, she plays with my youngest sister and sometimes goes for rides in the car with  my mom late at night. She also finds it funny to play with my cell phone when it goes missing. I have captured a picture of her in a pink dress. I think long hair in a ponytail and her back to me so I believe she was scared when my phone talked to take the picture and was running away. There is a hobo that frequents our house, an Indian (war) chief as well as a man in a tux who is often seen laying on my six year old sisters bed. There is also a young boy who I have been calling Seth. At my friends house there are Indians and cats walking about a doubt they know they are dead.

Thats pretty amazing she can remeber this tall man at the age of 2 while she was taking a bath alone at that age is really supernatural.

    • sharayah says:

      lol you funny :) )

    • martha says:

She actually said that her sister was 2 and taking a bath, she was 9………………..

      • Apostleled says:

“One time my little sister, she was two at the time, was taking a bath”

“when my little sister screamed. My older sis and I ran to the bathroom were she had been taking a bath and the lights were off.”

Yes she was 9 but her two year old sister recalls what she saw and that is supernatural

        • Apostleled says:

“When latter inquired about what had happened she told us that a tall black man (almost as tall as my father who is at least 6 feet tall) had come in and turned the light off on her.”

          • Caretaker says:

That doesnt sound like she is saying anyone recalled anything from being 2 years old. It sounds to me like she is saying that she asked the 2 year old and here is what she said at the time.

        • Caretaker says:

Why would it be supernatural? If it is supernatural then I must be really weird because I have a very clear memory of a time when I was 2 years old. I can describe the house and the entry and how things were arranged etc. I told my mother about this memory years ago and she was stunned. She said I was only 2 years old when it happened.

Yes, it is possible for a 2 year old to remember

          • Apostleled says:

Did not say it was not possible just supernatural thats all. I am not doubting her story its just is supernatural for a two year old to take a bath alone and then to say a tall dark man cut the lights out on her. Sorry if it offended you.

            • Caretaker says:

Offended? No Not at all. I just dont think you are aware that many 2 year olds take baths alone and can remember things – it is natural not supernatural :) . Do you have children? I have 3 plus grandchildren and believe me they are much smarter than many may think.

              • Apostleled says:

It being natural or supernatural is an opinion. If you allow your two year old to take a bath by there self then thats fine. I dont think its safe but thats my meaningless opinion and I can not remember anything from the age of two as no one I know can remember things from the age of two. I am sure there are some people that can andwould agree with your opinion. But some also agree with mine. Im not right or wrong and neither are you maybe we can agree on that fact.

                • Caretaker says:

You may think it is unsafe but that is not the same as supernatural. There are many people who can remember events from that age, that is not an opinion it is a fact. However that is irrelevant and isnt even the question here as in the story it was a 9 year old and not the 2 year old who was doing the remembering :) (In telling the story) Yeah the 2 year old remembered it at least long enough to tell her sisters. But nothing strange about that. 2 year olds can remember that you promised they could go to the park the day before etc…

Oh, and your opinion is not meaningless at all.

                  • Apostleled says:

I do think it is your opinion not fact whether it is natural to remeber things from the age of two. For most people who can not remeber from that age it is supernatural but for those like you that can it is natural and every fact is simply an opinion that most agree with.

                    • Caretaker says:

That is fine but you and I look at things differently. I believe that a fact is something that cannot be wrong and an opinion is not a fact. A fact is something that is proven and can be shown to anyone while an opinion is just each persons own idea about it. Gravity holds us to the earth Fact, one plus one is 2 fact, the Earth revolves around the sun – fact… So having people agree or not agree has no bearing on whether something is a fact or not.

But still there is nothing in this story that says a person can recall events from when they were 2 years old. However if you do some research you will find that it is not an uncommon thing.

I am not offended in the least by your disagreement. I enjoy debates like this.

                    • Apostleled says:

Then it is simply a fact that some believe it is amazing or supernatural to recall events from the age of two. As some comment above. that is a fact because they believe it most believe that two plus two is four but to those who cant count is that a fact to them? It is a fact to me that Jesus is King and the proof is in the Bible. But you may not agree so facts and proof are only an opinion of interpretation

                    • Caretaker says:

That is like trying to say that if no one is around to hear a tree fall there will be no sound. Regardless of what we think or how well we know mathematics 2 plus 2 is 4. If we do not believe it or if we do not understand it, it doesnt change the fact.

“Proof is in the Bible” That would be another discussion but first we would have to define “proof” In fact there is very little proof in the Bible hence the whole thing being “Faith” based which is the opposite of proof. :)

Facts and proof have nothing to do with what we agree on or disagree on – That is what opinions are for.

                  • Apostleled says:

“When latter inquired” could mean ten minutes after the incident or 10 min before she wrote the story. Later on it states her six year old sister so I assume that is her younger sister which would make the writer 13 years old. So we do not know how old anyone was when they remembered.

                  • Apostleled says:

You can argue the definition of proof and fact all day but everything is how we interpret it you may believe its a fact but I may not which makes a fact a simple opinion that most agree with. My point in my first comment was the fact that her little sister recalled this event from the age of Two is supernatural and some comments above agree. If your OPINION is that it is not thats ok.

                    • Caretaker says:

OK so you and I will never be able to actually discuss a thing. I am one of those who thinks that words have particular meanings. It is too easy to misunderstand others and to be misunderstood when we make up our own word definitions. That is just my opinion on this, I dont want to offend at all just being blunt.

Sometimes it may not be clear when just reading written messages… just want to be clear that I mean you no disrespect and it doesnt bother me that we disagree. People do not have to agree with each other to get along.

                  • Apostleled says:

These are two definition of the word Fact-1.something said to be true or supposed to have happened.2.something known to exist or happen. So words do have meaning to me too. Something known or something said to be true sounds like it could also be an opinion. By this definition you could say that the afterlife is a fact but not all believe it is a fact so everything is interpretation thats all. And by the way I think we both would make great Lawyers!!!

              • Apostleled says:

Caretaker sorry for making a big deal out of it all some comments were not out of Love and I am sorry for that. I respect your opinion and I am glad you informed me that you can remember things from the age of two. I wish I could.

                • lunawatsername says:

couldnt resist chiming in on this real quick, love a good debate. i mostly wanted to say something about your point on facts only being relative- but the point of a fact is that it is concrete, opinions dont sway it. like your saying 2 plus 2 is only 4 because that is what is commonly believed, that is untrue. 2 plus 2 is 4 no matter what we believe, 2 plus 2 would still equal 4 even if everyone on the planet thought the answer was 5. look at it like this:at some point in history, humans believed the earth was flat. EVERYone believed it, but was the earth ever really flat? of course not, and nothing that we believed could make a difference to that. im not really taking a side here, just wanted to point that out :)

as an aside, caretaker? are you the only moderator of this site? because ive noticed that every comment is moderated, and that must be a whole lot of work for one person, if your the only one. (unless im completely mistaken and your not one, in which case never mind) i guess im just wondering how that works, and why. :)

                  • Caretaker says:

Yep a fact is a fact regardless of what anyone’s opinion is about it, that is the nature of a “fact”. Of course there are many things that are thought to be facts that are not too.

Yes I am the only one and it does take quite a bit of time to moderate all of these.

  2. imdorky13 says:

i know this may sound weird, but my husband and i were stationed at Ft. huachuca, in sierra vista and we recall there were old legends told to us of a possible indian burial ground…i can’t say that for certain…just what we were told :) best of luck to you and God Bless

  3. Anonymous says:

I would have Run and screams if I was her but Hope it don’t happen again ya’ll third eyes Open that why ya’ll see the ghosts. By the way love the story.

  4. sharayah says:

i would really like to see your picture of the girl in the pink dress. post it up please i know a lot of people would love to see it too.

  5. 4 more days until christmas AnNa BiTeS BaCk says:

i would love to see the picture.

  6. Bella says:

yes you should upload that picture.

  7. trolldoll says:

sounds like the area has a complicated history!! many places have multiple hauntings. i remember a few things from when i was 2 too!

  8. Carri says:

Seth is a demon I would not communicate with that entity. You must be a psychic who has the abilities to see ghost activities. seeing multiple ghosts must be a gift. maybe the place in New York is pretty haunted.
