She Is Paranormal

Posted on September 27, 2011

It all began when I was five. I would lay in bed, staring into the ceiling. I always seemed to pick out this one face, staring at me. The face was soft and round. I couldn’t quite pick out anything but the head and the eyes.

Sometimes I would wake-up, to these foot steps in the hallway, these nights I did not have the guts to arise and go to my parents room, instead, I would sulk and pull my covers over my face. This would happen once every fortnight, for about 2 years, until I was about 7. My mum decided to sleep with me, as she was bored of my ghostly experience stories.

When I began Kindergarten, I began to become sick often. It didn’t get so bad, right up until I was about 8 or 9, I would miss major clumps of school and would stay at home.

When I stayed at home by myself, scary things began occurring. The TV would flick on and off, bedroom doors would creak open, taps would run, the washing machine would begin.

We have a downstairs area, the stairs are quite old and windy, when you walk up them it would cause an awfully loud clanging sound. It then began that the sound of our stairs was sounded, it would start silently, as if someone was at the bottom of the stairs making their way up, it got louder, and louder, as if someone was walking up the stairs. I would sprint out the back door and hide in the bush, peering up into the house. I would see a figure walking around, peering out the back door and ‘evil staring’ me, as if to say
“Stay away.”

In year 4, I was 10 and the most amazing experience happened to me. I used to stay at an after school care, after school, as my mum worked late. One Wednesday, we got home and my sister, who was in High School and was able to walk home from school, was inside the house showering. We got to the front door, as it was locked mum searched for her house keys and I peered through our glass door,

“Mum!” I said, “There’s a black figure!” As I stared through the door, a black figure began to approach the door, it got about 3 centimeters away and vanished,. I turned the door knob and it opened! Mum was amazed and as we walked in my sister, wrapped in a towel, ran up the hall. She had no idea how we got in without a key, but I knew.

The same experiences re-occurred, I would get sick and the TV would flicker, on and off, the radio would come on and off, chairs began to un-tuck them selves and I would run out the back, to see the figure staring at me. It began that the figure would start smiling at me, as if to say, “Don’t fear.” It was a large change to the threatening look it had been giving me previously.

At the end of year 4, I began to hear small voices inside my head. I began to become claustrophobic. I didn’t mind these small symptoms. I began to become a horror fan, using emphasis when talking about horror, I was quite a horror addict, I would watch scary things on YouTube, and read scary ghost experiences. I would always un-tuck a chair for some reason. I would place it next to me and when reading I felt as if a presence next to me would be reading curiously.

I started to ask my dad, who has lived in this house for 25 years, about the history of the house, he explained this to me…

“This was a new estate, the house structures were mostly built by one builder, Mr. Caville. The house we live in now was one of his first. He lived in it until his wife died.”

I asked my dad about his wife, he told me she had had a heart attack in this very house. Then I knew it. I knew why these paranormal experiences were happening. Mrs. Caville!

Ever since then, I have hardly had any more ghost experiences. Why? Because I once asked a ghost to leave… Leave this world because her time was over, and now it was mine.

I know Mrs. Caville may still be here, but only quite slightly, she hardly tampers with me any more, as I think she is scared of the posters in my room. The posters I put in my room were for the purpose of scaring any other spirits who may live in my house, the posters are of one of my favored human beings Samara Morgan from the movie The Ring.

Thank-you for reading my experience.
