Ghost Stories & Paranormal Encounters

I suffer from insomnia, with 3 boys 10 and under, this wont do, so I take a sleeping pill that knocks me out for 12 hours without fail. Once it kicks in and I fall asleep all 3 of my boys can rough house over me jump on me and I don’t waken (it has been tried thank goodness for my husband).

One night in a deep sleep I had a nightmare. I screamed at myself to wake up which I’ve done before due to lots of nightmares in the past. Only this time, I had to scream at myself to wake up several times. When I finally awoke I opened my eyes and couldn’t move at all. I felt like I had pins and needles throughout my entire body. I felt pressure on my chest, and I saw a dark shadow where it was I couldn’t make out what it was, but instead my eyes were drawn to what seemed like cartoon shadow demons dancing on my ceiling.

I tried to scream but it seemed even my vocal cords were paralyzed. Still, I tried, and tried harder and harder as if in a fight for my life finally, I started to moan it was all I could do. I was trying to scream but all that came out were moans. Thankfully, I awoke my husband, thinking I was having a nightmare he told me to wake up. The weight on my chest lightened and I tried to yell to him that I couldn’t move. All that came out was “I caaaaant mmmmmmm…….I cant mooooove” my voice got stronger and I started tearfully telling him over and over I couldn’t move.

He sat up and rolled me over and that’s when the feeling started to come back in my limbs. My face on the pillow as I got my strength back I was out of breath and sweating as if I really was in a fight.
