Hi my name is Brian, I live in Cincinnati, Ohio and this story happened to my sister in Kentucky in a town south of here called Carrollton. My sister was a nurse at a nursing home when she was 21 in 2002. She worked there with her friend April who she lived with in the country part of town down a two lane country road. Now the story is one winter night back in 2002.

My sister Michelle got off work about 8 pm and told her roommate, “hey I’m going home now so can you cover the rest of my shift till 8:30?” April replied, “yeah, but when I leave here I’m picking up Donald (April’s boyfriend) and I’ll see you at the trailer around 9:15″. My sister (Michelle) said, “ok see ya at home”. Now my sister lived off a country road down a gravel driveway about 80 feet to a white two bedroom trailer near some woods. Yeah redneck, but now the story gets good.

She told me she got home about 8:20 pm and did the usual, drop the purse on the coffee table and took the shoes off, turned the TV on etc.. Now she said she was hungry so she went to the kitchen and popped in a hotpocket. She told me as she was waiting she heard a loud POP! Hit the side of the aluminum trailer by the front door. My sister said she jumped up and grabbed a steak knife and slowly walked to the front door and yelled “who the f**k is it before I shoot”, no reply. So my sis peeks out the window but all she saw was the eight inches of snow outside because its been snowing all day.

Next she opened up the front door and looked out and saw nothing, but as she turned her head she saw by the porch light on the side of the trailer what seemed to be a wet circle with a little bit of snow in the middle. It was an impact of a snowball, my sister automatically thought her roommate April was outside playing a prank on her so she said, “April, Donald I’m too tired for this so stop because I’m not playing this game!” She said she shut and locked the door and as soon as she turned away from the door BAM! Again by the front door. Angry, my sister turns back around and opens the door hoping to see her roommate but… no one was there. Puzzled, my sister steps out into the yard to see or hear someone moving but nothing. My sister said she got chill bumps not because she was cold from the snow but from being scared.

Afraid, my sis said she walked back to the porch but something caught her eye. There next to the steps to the porch were footprints, small ones. They came from the woods and headed to the side of her trailer towards the back. Terrified and nervous she followed them, step by step they trailed around the back of the house to the bathroom window. My sister, stunned in fear, runs to her car, steak knife in hand, now its 8:30 pm in the winter, its dark. My sister jumps in her car and locks the door. Cold, scared and confused she’s thinking, “is it my roommate playn’ a joke, is it a burglar or something I don’t wanna know?”

Two minutes go by and my sisters roommate pulls up behind her. Michelle gets out mad and scared yelling at April and Donald, “are you two playin’ a joke on me” confused they reply no what’s wrong? My sister explained to them what happened so they agreed to call the cops because it could be a burglar or some crazy guy you see in the movies. After calling the police and waiting for them to arrive all the lights in the house went off except the porch light. They thought the mysterious visitor cut the power but how was the porch light on?

The cops arrived ten min later at 8:55. The police officers tell them to wait by the cruiser while they go in to check the place. The cops go in turning on lights in each room as they enter them… hmm my sister, April and Donald sit there nervous. The cops exit five minutes later, they said that all the switches to the lights were switched down like someone turned them off one by one in each room… odd huh? “How did they all turn off at once?” my sis and roommate ask each other. Then the cops said nothing seems to be out of place but in the bathroom where the footprints go to from the outside there were water tracks that led to the bedroom closet where they found nothing but a jacket hanging up… they looked around windows and the back door… no sign of someone leaving or entering no footprints in the snow nothing… its like whatever entered the house went to the closet and didn’t leave. The cops told them to either go to a friends or family members house for the night and come back in the daylight. My sis and her roommate went to her roommates boyfriend’s house for the night.

A week later my sis and April moved in with her boyfriend to never go back again. A month later my sis went online and read that a little girl use to live there, her step-father raped her in the woods. After he was done she would run in the house and hide in the closet. One day he chased her there and killed her in the closet.
