Not a Figment of My Imagination

My (para)Normal Life

I have had so many paranormal experiences in my lifetime it has become a normal routine for me, hence “My (para)Normal Life.”

My first experience with the paranormal was at my grandparent’s house. I was very close with them so from the age of 6 years old I would spend just about every other weekend with them. It seemed that only when I was there I had an imaginary friend named Debbie. There were many children my age that lived on their street, even a schoolmate of mine so my family could not understand why I would create a friend.

Debbie was not a figment of my imagination. Debbie was older than me, she was a pretty girl with blonde hair. I liked her, she let me pick the games but would get angry if I would ignore her. I still remember a time that I had brought my friend Deanna to spend the weekend with me …

Flashbacks Imaginary Friends and Ghosts

I am 27 years old, and all of my life I have been tied into the supernatural one way or another. As a child, my mother was a practicing witch and I used to have horrible vision like dreams about people I had never met.

As I grew I began to practice witchcraft on my own, until I became pregnant with my daughter. Due to things I had experienced as a child I did not want to put her in harms way at all. Now I’m a stay home mom and my daughter just turned 4 years old, I also have one on the way.

My husband and I moved into our house almost a year ago, and since moving in I have not noticed any strange vibes or unexplained occurrences. However, over the past few weeks I have noticed my little girl has been acting a bit strange; first I should add that our daughter has a speech delay …

My Sons Imaginary Friend or Ghost?

I am a 31 year old mother of three.  In 1999 I had my first son. When my son was about 2 and a half years old we moved to Mesquite, Texas, to live in an apartment because my husband’s job was there. Our permanent address was in San Juan, Texas.

After a while of living in the second floor apartment, my son started to play and talk to an imaginary friend. He called his friend Culises. We did not think too much about it because we thought it was normal, being he was an only child. After some time our son began to include his friend in all of our activities.

When we would travel back home my son would take his friend with us and did not want us to place anything on the spot that Culises was sitting at. He would take him to the store and everywhere we went Culises would go.

One day my son …

The Little Girl – Ghost Demon Or Angel?

Ever since I can remember I have always had visits from this little girl. (I’m feeling stress and pressure on my body right now as I tell this story probably because this is my first time sharing about her).

I have only seen her twice and I’m not even sure it was her. She had long black hair, wore a white night gown, and her eyes were just eyeballs. No pupil or anything. And everything else seem normal about her except for many cuts and bruises.

Now the other time I saw her it was a completely off image, she had long blond hair this time and everything else was the same except she had eyes. Blue ones and she didn’t have any cuts or bruises. This time she really didn’t frighten me.

Now everyday I would hear her talk to me. Sometimes giving me right advice other times giving me wrong advice. She would tell me that I shouldn’t …

My Imaginary Friend Almost Killed Me

When I was around the age of 8, I remember that I used to talk to this little girl. I lived with my grandma and my mom. They just brushed it off as me having an imaginary friend. This little girl had light brown hair that she always wore in pigtails and green eyes. She told me her name was Lucy. She told me that she was eleven years old and that this was her home. (The house was a Victorian-style house, and must have been built in the 1800s or something) I told my mom and my grandma everything Lucy told me. Lucy was possessive. When my mom would call me for dinner or something, she would beg me not to leave. I always told her that I had to go. Later, she’d be pissed at me. She’d throw toys at me, pinch me, and hit me. Once, she even pulled my hair so hard, that she’d pull a …

My Daughters Imaginary Friends And The Colored Orbs

Hi, I’ll try to sum this up as best I can. In 1996 I built a new house, from day one (during construction) I heard footsteps, closing doors, my name being called and smells etc. My daughter was born in 1998. As she grew I would hear her playing in her room, she was my first and only child, so when I would hear her talking I didn’t think much of it, even when she would come to me grumbling, “Mom, they won’t leave me alone!” she wasn’t scared, more frustrated then scared. When I asked her who? “The green one” or sometimes, the ‘red one’ So I’d go back into her room with her and say out loud “Time to go home, since you cant play nice and leave her alone” and it seemed to work.

There is one particular evening I often find myself wondering about. In 1997, (my daughter was a toddler) she came running from her …

Jenny The Imaginary Friend

When my son was young, maybe 3, he had an imaginary friend named Jenny. He would play with her all the time. He said when he wasn’t playing with her she lived with God. We asked why she lived with God and he said because she had died in a fire. We are not a church going family, so the fact he would say that was just odd. She played with him for many months.

One week he kept talking about how it was going to be Jenny’s birthday soon, soon it was going to be Jenny’s birthday. Then the news came from Tommy that tomorrow was Jenny’s birthday and we should have a party she was excited, maybe should be get a cake. We bought a little cake for his imaginary friend and then waited for Jenny to come. She never visited my son that day or ever again.

He cried, he was devastated she didn’t come to the …

A Ghost Story From San Jose

I was 11 years old. I’ve had fairly intense experiences before this. My “imaginary friend” had been gone for no less than a month, and her parting had left me afraid for what was in store for me. She was my protector. She had a presence about her that let me know when she was about to appear, and in this way I was never terrified when she would appear in front of me. However this new buzzing – for lack of better words, this is what it felt like – was a different one and I had already learned not to like it.

It came from the toy box, like a full grown male with a contorted smile wearing a red and white striped shirt. His hair was matted, and he never spoke a word. He just crawled out slowly, as if giving you time to run, and every single time, I did. Somehow he managed to get in …

My New House And An Imaginary Friend

We had just moved to Virginia. As soon as we walked into that house I ran right to the up stairs closet. I would stay up there for hours. One night at dinner my mother asked me why I stayed in the closet so much. I told her I was playing with a boy. She asked me what the boy’s name was I told her I didn’t know but I would find out.

The next day I ran into the  kitchen  yelling, “I know his name, I know his name!” I told her I only knew his last name. So my mom went to the library and looked up the name. She found out his name was Jess Brace and that he had died of a fever in 1762. She also found out that he had a sister named Velvet Brace who was murdered over at her friend’s house not long after her brother’s death.

One night we were at …

Casper My Imaginary Friend

When I was 3 years old by aunt bought a grandfather clock and the day she bought it my “imaginary” friend Casper showed up. He was 7 years old, had straw blonde hair, wore denim overalls, a white tee-shirt and red converse shoes. He changed the channels from court TV to cartoons for me and banged the cupboard doors when the cats were hungry, He scared my aunt, grandma, dad, and mother – all except me.

I giggled at his antics and loved to play with him. Then one day my aunt brought in a median. Without telling the woman that I saw him and what he looked like she described him perfectly.

Then a month later my aunt’s girlfriend moved out she took the clock with her. Casper left with the clock.

Still 10 years later, I’ll be out with my friends out walking around and then I’ll see an old lady or a little kid and stop to …

My Imaginary Friend Rudy

Well, My mother told me this and I hope you enjoy it. I really don’t know so you tell me if this sounds true.

I was around four or five years old, and we had just moved into our apartment. My mom said that I suddenly started to wake up in the middle of the night and talk to someone by the name of Rudy. She said I would tell him about what I was going to do the next day and she said she sometimes heard a whisper talking back.

A few weeks later I would walk around the house talking to myself, as if someone or something was talking back. When my older sister came to confront me on my weird behavior, I simply said, “I have a friend, His name is Rudy. He talks to me and makes me happy.” She freaked and told my mom.

Now my mom was getting frantic so she too confronted me …

My Daughters Imaginary Friend Cindy

I had never been one that believed in ghosts or the paranormal. My grandmother used to tell me stories of how she would see ghosts, and how she had a ghost that followed her since she was a child. Even though I loved hearing her stories because they were so entertaining, I just never fully believed them. My opinion was “I’ll believe it when I see it.”

I have a 10 year old daughter, but when she was 6 I discovered that she was always playing with her imaginary friend that she called Cindy. I thought it was normal for little kids to have imaginary friends, so I just ignored it. some of the things she would talk about with Cindy, however, just seemed all too strange for a six year old to be discussing with a fake friend.
