Hi, I’ll try to sum this up as best I can. In 1996 I built a new house, from day one (during construction) I heard footsteps, closing doors, my name being called and smells etc. My daughter was born in 1998. As she grew I would hear her playing in her room, she was my first and only child, so when I would hear her talking I didn’t think much of it, even when she would come to me grumbling, “Mom, they won’t leave me alone!” she wasn’t scared, more frustrated then scared. When I asked her who? “The green one” or sometimes, the ‘red one’ So I’d go back into her room with her and say out loud “Time to go home, since you cant play nice and leave her alone” and it seemed to work.
There is one particular evening I often find myself wondering about. In 1997, (my daughter was a toddler) she came running from her room, through the family room where I was, shouting “See mom see! It’s the green one!” through the kitchen she ran and would stop in front of a closed door leading into my laundry room/garage. There she would stop, knock on the door saying “hello?” before turning to walk back to her room, shrugging her shoulders, saying “Well, they’re gone.” I got a very uneasy feeling. She repeated this back and forth three times before she came tip-toeing around the corner, from the hallway leading to her room, taking my hand whispering, “Come here mom, come here, its the red one,” repeating this as she led me, what I assumed down the hall to her room, but was surprised that she stopped in front of my closed bedroom door where my husband was sleeping, and pointed at the door, “See!” she said, I was very uneasy as I turned to look, “What?, there isn’t anything there” I started to say. But before I finished, as I was turning my head back to her, when I saw a little red orb shaped light about the size of a penny come darting through the door, passing right in front of my face, and then dart towards her bedroom. It moved very fast, I jumped back screaming as I yelled to her, “What the heck was that!!?” My daughter was laughing so hard she could barely talk. Half laughing, half relieved that I had finally seen it she said, “I TOLD YOU! ITS THE RED ONE!”
The hallway lays in the middle of my home so I know it couldn’t of came from any window. I was convinced from the beginning, from all the different experiences me and my husband, also a few of our friends had had that there was something there. But I never felt threatened or scared (a little nervous sometimes maybe) but never scared. This experience shook me up a little more than ever before, but still, didn’t feel afraid. We sold the house in 2002 and often wonder if the people who bought it have experienced anything as we did but, my question is, can these ‘orbs’ that are frequently talked about be different colors? What would you think of this?
Thank You for your time and I hope to hear back from you soon.

exactly thats what i am wondering n even if she is born in 1998, how cud she speak n recognicse colors as well, its very confusing
I dont know whats up with the dates, I am guessing that it was just a typo, but my daughter just turned 2 about a month ago and she can already recognize and name some colors.
Caretaker, that’s true when my daughter was 2 she knew words iin both english and french!
it was just a typo like I, Caretaker said, give the poor girl a break, i miss-spell all the time guys! and i really like you’re story Karen
your daughter is the same age as me. Great story.
From what i have heard about orbs they are usually white or clear spheres… some believe they are physical manifestations of spirits and others do not… the ones you described seemed to have motion and purpose… maybe we need more study into orbs especially colored orbs…personally you seem to have something afoot in your home- thanks for sharing!
Green = healing, fertility
Red means stress or restlessness
That was a pretty good story. I can completely relate since I have been seeing colored orbs since I was 7 years old, I am 25 now.
I see orbs, and the colors I have seen them in are burgundy, orange, green, dark green, olive green, white, black, purple, blue, silver, and sometimes the orb is more than one color. The outside may have a thin ring of color then the inside is a different or similar color. They move slower now then when I first began seeing them.
I don’t normally reply to these sort of things, but this has really caught my attantion!! I have seen these “orbs” too. At first I thought maybe I have been staring into a light or the sun too long, but sinse reading this, I’m begining to chance my mind. I have seen them being white or green or a pale orance. And it’s always out of the corner of my eye. Or I will be watching TV, or on my computer, and I will see something – and when I look, it quickly zips away. Angels?? Previous family members? Aliens???
My sister moved into this old house, while waiting to close on a house that she was buying. She told me that her daughter would talk to her about seeing these colored lights. There was a mean one and there were also nice ones that kept the mean one away. My sister would always have very strong smells of food cooking in the house. Her husband worked off for a week or so at a time and it was just the two of them. Sometimes in the middle of the night she would awake to strong smells of food.
She contacted her friend and told her what was going on. Her friend told her that her little girl needed to tell them to go away and not come back. That has been several years ago and they havent had any problems since.
There are many theories on colored orbs beginning with “orbs don’t exist” to attaching attitude and feelings to them based on their color. (You can research this by just googling “colored orbs”). Some think that the different colors are caused by simple “chromatic distortion” which is how your eye lens inteprets different shapes and movement. So there is much “ado” about the validity of the orb phenomena, and I for one do believe that they exist and that they can be colored, albeit there are fewer true photo captures of orbs than those reported due to photographic issues causing reflections, and just charlatans who enjoy fooling around with peoples beliefs.
I particularly attach validity to your story because children at as young an age as you mention your daughter to have been during these experiences, are not sophisticated enough to lie. (ahhh, if only we could all have kept that level of unsophistication, eh?) The innocence in her sharing the experiences she was having adds the strongest factor of truth. I agree that pronouncing ownership of our space and telling any entities that they are either not welcome and must go, or that they must conduct themselve in a manner acceptable to you, is one of the most powerful tools in your arsenal!
