Crawling Shadow?

The following is a story that I have posted many times on various sites and forums in an attempt to get some answers. I’ve come to this site in the hopes that someone will be able to shed some light on the events. Still, almost four years later no one has been able to provide me with any advice or opinions.

As far as I can remember I’ve always been what I would consider to be sensitive to the paranormal. Not empathic or psychic ( as far as I can tell ) just a little more aware of my surroundings than most people. Despite the many paranormal experiences I’ve had, there is one in particular that still boggles my mind. I’ve done my best to research these “beings” on my own but I’m not finding any answers… so, here goes!

About 4 years ago a friend and I decided to rent a place together. Nothing about it was particularly old odd or out of place. Neither of us felt any kind of uneasiness or anxiety upon renting the apartment. Within a week that changed for me.

I was home alone minding my businesses and washing dishes all of a sudden, I started to get that really uncomfortable feeling like someone is watching you. I told myself to just look nothing’s there your just uncomfortable being in a new place alone. So I look to my side over my shoulder expecting to see nothing. Except this time, something was there. In the threshold of my kitchen/living room about 1 foot off the ground was this shadow being. It was crouched in the doorway in what I can only describe as a crawling position. Being in total disbelief, I turned back to the dishes to try to convince myself that I was just seeing things. So I decided to look again. It was still there just watching me.. it didn’t feel menacing or evil but curious it was like it was scared or confused and trying to figure out who I was and what I was doing.

I don’t exactly remember my reaction but I did acknowledge it I think I may have even said hello or I see you.

Well I continued seeing this shadow. Frequently. It was always crouching in thresholds it never actually entered into rooms. It just watched you and it began to make me feel very uneasy. My roommate started seeing it as well but told me to ignore it as he thought it was harmless. Maybe it was but it was getting too curious. One night it had me frozen in fear in my bed so much so that I had every single light on in the hopes that I wouldn’t see it staring at me. I was so uneasy about it that I made my roommate come home from a friends house.

I still have no idea what it was or what it wanted and I haven’t experienced anything of the like since I moved out. One night I got fed up and attempted to perform my own cleansing ritual. I didn’t actually see it, but I felt it running from me. As if it was scared..it ended up trying to hide from me in my closet huddled in a corner.

I guess I just want to know what it was and what it wanted. Why did it feel menacing sometimes and cowardly others? If anyone has any insight I would greatly appreciate it.

Shadow People What do They Mean?

One morning around 6 a.m. I was getting up and ready for work. I was in the living room folding up my blankets (I slept on the couch that night.) I was standing up, and I just felt like something was watching me.

I looked in the direction of the hallway, and standing in the hallway leading to the bedrooms was a large shadow figure. It was very tall, and it was all black. It had no facial features that I could make out, but it was in the shape of a large figure. There was no hat like some others have described when seeing shadow figures. It just stood there like it was staring me down.

I was frightened, and I just looked away and walked towards the kitchen to get away from it. I never looked back, and even though I was early, I left the house to go to work. I only saw that once, but have had many other things happen over the 24 year period while living in that house.

That shadow figure just really got to me. I don’t know what it was, but it wasn’t a good peaceful feeling that I got that morning.

Shadow or Spirit Why and Who?

For the past few years I have had some entity with me. It does not hurt me or speak to me but it makes its self known.

I sometimes see it walking in my kitchen but I also know that it follows me.

At work I am alone and I sometimes see it there.

Its a tall dark shadow figure. I know its there. I am not crazy. I just want to know why its with me and who it is? Please help thanks.

Little Evil Spirit and Normal Spirits

My friend is having problems with something that seems like sleep paralysis, but I fear it might be something more.

For the last couple of days a little person has been going up to him (little shadow figure). As soon as he sees this little shadow person he can’t move. The other day he saw the little shadow person and couldn’t move. He then started to try to yell, that is when his sister who was also in the room kept on asking him if he was ok? He saw the shadow figure come closer and closer until his sister leaned forward.

My friend has also had other spirits which he can see hold him down in a head lock. He has also had shadow figures sit on him, so he cant move. I don’t think he’s crazy or imagining these things because when he was a child he would see worst things. It stopped for a while, but it started again.

At my house he would only hear baby’s crying outside my rooms window, but nothing when he slept in the living room. I tell him to go see a priest, but he’s a hard head that doesn’t care. I’m more concerned with this little shadow person that has been basically tormenting him for the last couple of days. These events also happen just before or after dead time. Any help would be much appreciated.

White Mist in My Living Room?

Hello, I have posted on here a few times before, and I can’t seem to find my other posts, but I have had some weird things happening in my house over the course of about a year that I’ve lived here. Maybe I’m losing my mind, I don’t know.

Just as a summary, I have seen and felt a dark shadow in the shape of an average height and average build man pass by me, I’ve heard my name being called when nobody is there (so has my mother, but she refuses to listen to me, she always says our houses are never haunted then later admits that they were). I’ve seen and felt something run right up to my face then disappear, I just have a general creepy feeling while passing through my hallway even in daytime, I’ve had unexplained events with my TV set malfunctioning, and my cousin has seen my deceased father’s face in my bedroom mirror.

The other day, I was sitting at the kitchen table smoking. Right in the hallway, where it connects with the living room, I saw a big white mist form, move towards the living room, and then suddenly disappear. I KNOW it was not cigarette smoke, because nobody smokes in the living room and I was a good distance away from the hall and the mist did not look like cigarette smoke. My smoke never travels that far. It also would not have suddenly disappeared if it was my smoke, it would have hung in the air for at least a few seconds before disappearing. Funny thing is, the mist was right in the exact spot of the hallway that always creeps me out.

I thought maybe it was just my eyes going funny, but it never did it again. I could see this mist and it was pretty solid, I knew it was not a trick of the light because one part covered the part of the TV stand that I could see from the kitchen and like I said, looked to be out in the hall, not directly on the TV stand, which is in the very back corner of the living room.

Another thing I have been experiencing, and so have my cousins, are tiny little balls of white light that fly past us. We figured it was just the light catching our eyelashes funny or a flake of mascara, but it happens when we’re not even wearing makeup and in all rooms in the house and whether there’s lights on or not.

So, the question is… What is this, and should I be the least bit worried?

Is Something Trying to Hurt My Family?

Okay, So five years ago there was a horrible tragedy in my family. My brother who was 16 died in a Car Accident. A couple of days before that he had said he felt he wasn’t going to live much longer.

Right before my brother had died my grandmother had started to begin seeing things in her bedroom at night. For example, people, animals, objects. To this day she still sees things. She says that she sees a red ball like orb and it will come to her and she touch’s it with her hand.

My other brother Jason, has seen things too. One night he woke up to a black figure with red sparkling eyes choking him. Another thing that happened was he dreamt of I guess a demon like throwing him around the room and when he woke up his wife looked at his back and he had scratches covering his back.

Now I had seen a man a couple years ago in my grandmothers house. A tall man in black with a top hat but he didn’t make me uncomfortable I just ignored him. Just Recently things had been happening to me, as the things increase with my brother and grandmother.

The first dream I had was of like a little demon boy that attacked my grandmother and laughed at me, and when I freaked out and asked for him to bring her back, he told me the only way I could ever save her was for me to go through the fire and die.

The second dream I had was just the other night, and I kept seeing this demon and it was girl wearing a white shirt and everything else was black. She kind of reminds me of the girl from the ring. Any way I kept seeing her, and each time she got closer to me trying to attack me. Finally in the dream my brother that’s still alive saved me and the demon ate his face but stared at me the whole time it was doing it. The second weird part of the dream is everywhere I saw the demon I would see my brother that past away just standing off in the distance watching.

When I told my brother about the dream he almost started crying. He told me that the other night when he was laying in bed at my grandmothers house his closet doors open and he was so tired he got smart with it and a ball flew out of the door and hit him in the chest. He then covered his head with the blankets and went to sleep. And what my grandmother has been seeing is getting scarier. She’s seeing my brother that’s still alive standing in her room at night when he’s clearly in his room asleep. I get very uncomfortable at night when I’m alone, like something’s with me and wants to hurt me.

So my question is. Could there be something trying to hurt my family? What could it be, is it harmful to us, and why would it being doing this? Or is it just a special thing my family has to see things? I don’t know, please help. This is getting Un-bearable.

Why Does a Black Shadow Follow Me in My Dreams?

I have needed to talk about this dream for ages but i didn’t know who to ask about so i thought this would be a good place to start. I have been having the same dream every night for the past two weeks its always the same or differs a little bit.

In my dream I’m usually at school and this black shadow keeps following me and no one else can see it but me and it also communicates with me and I am the only one who can hear it and what the shadow says doesn’t make any sense all it says are random words.

I have been having this dream over and over again every night without fail I have tried spells and burning white sage but it hasn’t helped.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Blessed be.

Is the Hat Man a Bad Omen?

I was recently in a forum discussing the paranormal. I had mentioned seeing the Hat Man when I was 15 years old. I was informed, and I did research this, that Hat Man is a type of soul collector. I read that this particular entity uses other spirits to keep the recently deceased from going into the light.

Has anyone heard of this? And if some one has encountered this entity is it a bad omen?

What is a Shadow Creature?

The “Shadow Creature” goes by several different names; The Hat Man, Shadow Man, Shadow people, Shadow Creature…

The strange shadow like apparition has been reported by many different people from all over the world; separated by both miles and time yet with similar descriptions of encounters with something in the realm of shadows.

Opinions and beliefs vary widely as to just what these “creatures” or entities are. Some see them as evil while others see them as indifferent or even as guardians or watchers.

What do you think? What is the nature of the Shadow People?
