Ghost Stories & Paranormal Encounters

Towards the end of last summer me and my best friend were walking home from our friend’s house. He only lives about a block from my house so I am allowed to walk there and back at any time. We just turned off his street and on to mine when we got this uneasy feeling. I knew something was wrong and so did she. It felt as if someone was following and watching us as we took every step. There was no street lights for a 30′ radius but the  moon was bright and we could see no one was there. But we could feel them around us, and then we saw shadows dart from one side of the street to the other. I am a strong believer in the paranormal and such, and she was some what into it. It takes a lot to scare me usually and all the hair on the back of my neck were up and goosebumps popped up all over my body. She asked if I felt it too and I shock my head yes. I could tell she was scared because she could hardly speak.

It was August and the temperature was supposed to be in the high 70′s but it felt more like in the low 30′s. I don’t know how I managed it but the word “run” came from my mouth and we high tailed it back to my house. With every step it felt like a major pressure was on my back, shoulders and chest. Like someone was giving me a bear hug from behind and trying to pull me back. But we made it in one piece. We yanked the door open ran down the dark hall, got in my room, flipped the lights on, lock the door and window. It was summer but we were under my covers in winter coats with socks and gloves on. I had a strange urge to tack down my curtain (it is just a sheet over the window). Right after I did so the curtain started to move like some one was on the other side breathing heavily.

By this point she was on the phone with her boyfriend almost in tears telling him to get over here right now. Her boyfriend and his close band of friends are in a group called the “brotherhood”. They all have extremely high sensory to the paranormal and have some other abilities and are all a little insane (my opinion). Along with me I have the ability to sense any human, animal or other beings around me. It use to only be within about a 10 – 15 foot radius and was extremely weak and some times but I have perfected it to nearly a 5 mile radius. He and his “brothers” were only a couple blocks away so they ran here as fast as they could.

It nearly scared the crap out of us when they knocked on my bedroom door. We were more focused on the images that started appearing in my head than the fact the boys were on the way over. I drew every image that was shown in my mind. Most of them made no sense but the last one did it was a picture of a man being ripped apart and crushed to death. The images stopped after the boys arrived and the curtain stopped breathing as well. But the boys took us out side again where we were constantly shaking because it was so cold. One of the boys put a barrier around us and everything stopped we were sweating now because we were still wearing the coats and presence of other beings disappeared. If we stepped out of the barrier for even a second it all came rushing back to us and we would be freezing again.

We were across the street from my house at a church that was hardly ever used and we could see the shadows on the walls of the building move and slowly back away as one of the guys approached it. We explained everything to the guys of what happened. They told us that shadows we were seeing that night were shadow beings. They will leave you alone if you show them no fear and the detest the light so staying in my room would be a good idea. The also told me that the pictures I saw were projected by a shadow person I came in direct contact with. Probably when I felt the pressure on my back, shoulders and chest was the shadow person latching on to me. It was a mild case of being possessed. They said because of my ability to sense people and other beings that I will attract more shadow people to me or maybe even worse, but they also said my spirit energy is high enough that it will wart most of them off.

We all walked back down the dark street it all started at and up in the trees and everywhere so many of them they watched our every step waiting for an opening to attack. It was the longest and scariest night we had experienced. We slept with the lights on and never told my parents about it. But it still hasn’t ended. the shadow people still follow me every where at night and are always in my room except when I sleep with lights on when I can’t sleep because there is so many. I hate it so much but there is nothing I can do about it, they will always be attracted to my spirit energy I just can’t show them fear and I won’t be hurt. Shadow people are the reason I am tired all the time. They follow me to my best friends house but they also follow her too. I guess because we are almost always together that they are attracted to her now. They did disappear for awhile this winter but now that it is spring they are back but its worse than it use to be. I just hope no one get hurt this time.
