The Ouija or Ghost Board Warning

Posted on September 11, 2007

Submitted to us by Lizzie

Now, we have all heard stories but this isn’t a story. This actually happened to my bud and I. Not to long ago my friend Sarah and I found one of those old “Ghost Boards”. We didn’t believe that it was real but we took it in anyway.

Right after we walked in the door of her house it got VERY cold and we asked her sister if she touched the air and she said no but that she was going to turn it up colder because she was hot. When we told her we were cold she laughed at us, it was only us!

We went into the spare bedroom and put the board down on the floor and lightly put our fingers on the mover piece and asked it if there was a ghost in the house, just for fun because we didn’t believe that the board could be real.

All of a sudden the mover piece went flying all over the board only to stop as we said the letter it was on. It spelled “Beware of 11″. So of course we were scared. But we didn’t get it.

I spent the night that night (but we didn’t go in the spare room again!). That night, at about 10:30, Sarah’s sister said she was going to make cookies. Forgetting about the boards warning we said she could. After she put the cookies in the oven she wanted to watch us play with the board so we took it outside to play.

We asked it if there was a ghost in here and the board went crazy again only this time it stopped on 11. At that second Sarah’s sisters cookies burst into flames. After talking with the police about the fire, he said it happened at about 11 o’clock and that goes to prove not all ghost boards are bad, that one saved my life.

Jeez, you should have believed in the board. When it comes to stuff like ghosts, don’t EVER close your eyes to the info they give you. As far as I know, ghosts don’t lie.

whoa u really better watch out next time around. Because the Ouija board is not a game. it is a dangerous thing. You know what they say “Don’t call the one’s you don’t know” , “Don’t play with the ones you can’t see” and “never distroy their only way out”. That’s all i got to say, kewl experience but scary at the same time. Thanks for submitting this.

OK, maybe not all ouija boards bring bad spirits or whatever they are, but what happens if they do bring the bad ones – like my first and only experience did?

I just don’t think it’s worth the risk.

never mess about with OUIJA boards FACT.
The word OUIJA means yes/ no in French. Under NO circumstances should you even dabble with the unknown and even if you are tempted by friends, just don’t do it!! If you do or rather have done, then you bring it on yourself and cannot get help unless your faith is strong and you can then seek a priest who maybe able to rid you of the spirit.

This sounds suspicious to me. I don’t trust the board or the “spirits” you communicate with when using them. How did the cookies “burst into flames?” I’m just saying: Don’t play with these things, it is NOT a game! They are dangerous and you will release something that can and will stay with you forever.
