Possible Poltergeist Experience

This is my story of my brothers entity or possible poltergeist. I had just come home from North Carolina to be at my late grandmother’s funeral. The following happened at approximately 3 AM on a Thursday morning so it was during a morning which supposedly has a designated demon during the witching hour, at the time I didn’t know this. My brother and I wanted to rid the spirit that had in the past caused: White Noise phenomena, sleep paralysis to both of us on numerous counts, called for the both of us from another room in different house, and inability to control body parts while totally aroused followed by Recurrent Spontaneous Psychokinesis.

At 3 AM we called upon the spirit to make it’s self known. At that moment the lit candles flickered, a cold presence swept past us, and while on channel 33 the television turned off by it’s self. Read more

Satan And His Demons

The earliest known records of mankind’s belief in Satan and demons appear in the Jewish writings from about 300 BC (Around 2,300 years ago). Within 200 years the beliefs and concepts concerning Satan and demons became very well developed in the Palestine region. Within another 200 years this concept spread out as far away as Ireland and Europe.

Probably, the most widespread, generalized belief is that Satan and demons are fallen angels with Satan being the ‘leader’. Satan is viewed as the enemy of God and the embodiment of evil.

There can be a lot of confusion in the paranormal world as to just what is responsible for certain events, but most paranormal experts agree that a demon and a ghost are not the same thing.

Of course, there are many who do not believe in the existence of Satan or demons. That is not the point of this article. My purpose here is only to shed light on some history behind the now worldwide knowledge about Satan and demons.

Personally, I do believe that demons are real. I do not however, believe that a ghost is a demon. With that in mind it would only follow that some hauntings, or poltergeists, may actually be demonic activity.

Husband And Wife Paranormal Investigators

Peter Gregory, of Mablethorpe, England has spent most of his 68 years investigating paranormal activity. Peter and his wife Sue have visited many homes during the course of their investigations to help with problems related to spirits, ghosts and poltergeist activity.

The husband and wife team have been referred to as ‘Ghostbusters’, but they prefer not to use such a term saying that real life ghosts are nothing at all like what we saw in the movie. In real life you have to deal with people and their emotions and sometimes people deal with truly horrific paranormal activity. They are often terrified, frustrated and confused.

Mr. and Mrs. Gregory have never charged a fee for helping someone. Their special talents and abilities allowed them to help people who were unable to get help from anyone else. Peter was forced to retire from his life’s work because of health problems.

Sue was asked what advice she would give to others who wanted to get into paranormal investigations. She said that a person needed natural parapsychological abilities as well as the ability to communicate well and with compassion. She also urged people not to dabble with a Ouija board and said the nearly three out of four cases they investigated were because of them.

Sue also said, “A lot of hauntings are spirits being attracted by a particular individual rather than a place.”

The Borley Rectory Poltergeist

Borley RectoryThe Borley Rectory Poltergeist is probably the most famous case of poltergeist activity. Borley Rectory was built in 1863 in Great Britain.

In the early 1930’s a fellow named Lionel Foyster lived there. Foyster kept a journal in which he recorded poltergeist activity he had seen and experienced.

There were literally thousands of events written in that journal. It seems that a poltergeist is a little bit different from the average ghost. Most researchers agree that a poltergeist is not a ghost, but is instead a manifestation of a some unknown energy. Opinions differ widely as to what the source of that energy is.

This is why poltergeists are known for noise and disturbance. Whatever the source, the energy responsible is a violent one.
