Poltergeist Mystery in England

Posted on July 24, 2010

I live in a small village in England. Me and my family moved in to our house last October and since then strange things have been happening to us.

A couple of weeks in to the new school term me and my sister lost our reading books. We got worried that we would be told off so we spent over 3 hours looking for them both; We practically turned the house upside down. We had to eventually leave for school without them so we reluctantly got in to the car and drove off. When I got home that afternoon I went upstairs to my room to get changed and freshen up. I was home alone as my sister had an after school club and my parents were still at work-I had let myself in with my key. Nobody had been home since we left this morning, but as I went in to my sister’s room to collect some perfume she’d borrowed…I saw the two reading books, facing up, laid perfectly next to each other in the middle of the floor.

I got so freaked out after that as when I asked my family if they had moved them they swore they hadn’t. Next week I went to school feeling terrified about coming home again. I desperately tried to arrange to stay with a friend but they were all busy. When I got home I walked around downstairs to go to the kitchen to get a drink. As I walked down the hallway, I realized the keys to all the doors were in a pile in the middle of the floor. We always left the keys in the doors to avoid losing them, but today they were stacked in a heap on the wooden floorboards. Again, my family denied moving anything. How could they if they were all out all day?

The most recent time something like this has happened, my family were all at home. My sister was in her room trying on makeup, my dad was watching a football game in the living room and my mum was in the garden. I was sitting in the family room on the laptop, listening to music on youtube. The big wooden door was closed firmly but suddenly I heard a creak behind me. Then a sharp crunching sound and the door swung open, coming off its hinges at the top. I screamed and backed up against the opposite wall, madly hoping that it was only an accident caused by one of my family. But no. Instead I felt a cold shiver run down my spine before my dad came running in begging to know if I was alright.

That night I had a strange dream. In the dream I was strapped down to a board that was obviously standing vertically, as I felt like I was standing up with no apparent effort. I am in pitch darkness in the dream, but, lit up by a dim spotlight, the head of a man comes towards me. He is wearing a white surgical mask that covers his mouth and nose, and his eyes are an unnaturally light blue. He is also wearing a medical cap and white rubber gloves. In his hand he is holding a sharp silver scalpel and he is bringing it closer and closer to my face. When the sharp tip is about to touch my eye, I wake up. It takes me about up to 10 minutes until I can remember the dream clearly, but it is becoming reoccurring-now every other night.

As I am writing this I am alone-my mother is out walking the dog, my father and sister are out shopping. I can hear faint roaring noises and I feel as if somebody is behind me. I also see strange shadows of objects that aren’t in the room with me. Help?

I don’t think you have anything to be afraid of with your poltergeist…sounds like it is only playing tricks on you and probably gets a kick out of your reaction. The nightmare is a totally different thing and not related…our minds pick up on things we’ve seen during the day or week and play them back in weird ways due to what we have eaten, stress, lack of sleep, etc.

    Amy,

I’m not sure why particular families are targeted. I was nearly twenty years old when the supernatural entered our home. My parents were approaching a break up, and emotions were running pretty high. The house was always under tension. I can’t prove it, but I believe that when people are overflowing with negative feelings, it attracts spirits who make things even worse.

On the other hand, I know that when God’s children wander too far from home, He allows these things to happen with the hope they will return to Him. As a matter of fact, there is an example of this in the Bible. A step-son and step-mother were having sexual relations and the church dismissed them back into the world again, where they suffered. Coming to their senses, they discontinued that kind of behavior, and they were accepted back into the church. So it is easy to see that even evil spirits serve God’s purpose whether they know it or not.

I’m writing from memory, so there may be some inaccuracy in my comments. This memory is from nearly 30 years ago.

The way your poltergiest acting as sooooooooooo childish i don’t even think that it’s a poltergiest it’s not thier way to make us u know afraid at first if you were realy believing that there’s something up with your house you should ask about the people who had lieved in your house before you moved on like why they had moved on/ jow they did atc atc then avoid bieng HOME ALONE try ask your sister if she likes the house the girls are easily freking out she will tell you no one likes to keep this things hidden and like i’ve said i don’t realy think that there’s apoltergiest in your house but thier is a divles in your house and i’m 100% sure of course if what you’re teling is true but they can’t make for us something good or bad they only mess with weak ppl so don’t be weak be a littl ebit brave and u’r proplem will be solved

    Hey Amy,

I’m from England also, I come from Liverpool but live in Southwark, London.

    Where about are you from?

It sounds to me like your dream may very well be one of your past lives or had a memory imprinted on you psychically. What you had described sounds like The Auschwitz doctor, Josef Mengele. He performed surgery on people, oft on twins using bleach dye in the eyes. Cutting out the eyes of one twin, trying to attach them to the other twin. The list goes on.

Yes, it’s far fetched. Mengele was dark haired and dark eyed. They called him ‘The Angel of Death’

Little known fact; One of Mengele’s assistants was described as ‘un-naturally blue eyed’ – this was the same man who helped Mengele prepare for the eye experimentations.

Like I said, far fetched. Check the history of the house. Did any survivors of Auschwitz return or come to live at the house. Check it out, you never know.
