Ghost Stories & Paranormal Encounters

Right, I’m 17 years old and I have a 18 year old girlfriend. one day we were out with our mates in a Renault Clio extreme, when my mate Chris suggested we go to a place named Silent Pool. Being me I thought nothing of it and decided to go. there was 4 of us in the car. anyways as we started driving closer there was a thick Fog and the noise of birds, this was about 3:00am in the morning. When we eventually arrived we sat in the car overlooking the pathway and started talking about what had actually happened at this place.

The Story :

A Girl about 30 years ago was chased through the woods by a man on a horse, as she tried to escape she fell in the lake there and drowned, its said the man on the horse can still be heard galloping, and the little girl can still be heard drowning.

Anyways, we all got out the car and decided to walk through, at this point a turned around a noticed some dim light moving around a church in the background as if someone had a torch or something.

As soon as we hit the path of Silent Pool, all you could hear was the noise of the water in the lake moving around, this started to freak me out quite badly, but then out of nowhere a loud noise like some kind of machine was heard coming through the woods. And believe me on this bit, but I heard the quietest sound of hoof’s galloping across the floor and the footsteps of someone running away. At this point the noise of the machine got louder and louder, eventually my girlfriend dragged me and shouted run, so we all ran down this path back to the car, but as we were down the path we noticed some shadow walking path the entrance to the path, at this point of was dusk and the sun was up. But still it was creepy.

As soon as we drove off from the silent pool everyone in that car swore they saw the man on the horse halfway down the path just staring at the car with his black eyes, the little girl on the other hand was nowhere to be seen.
