My bestfriend Chris and I were hanging out with some of our buddies. We were all sitting around the TV being bored and trying to find something to do, so randomly Chris starts to talk about this ghost/spirit living in his closet.
At first I was a real skeptic but then he said he had a way to talk to it with a pendulum, so out of natural curiosity we started to use the pendulum he had made. We started to ask it simple questions like “are you male?”, etc. and the pendulum seemingly worked with yes or no questions. But I still doubted until we started to try and reword questions and the pendulum would not move at all only on those certain questions, we basically spent our entire night messing with this pendulum. In my mind the pendulum only brought curiosity, so I started to research ways to contact spirits (Ouija, etc.) and decided to buy a board to see if it would really contact spirits. I went to Toys R’ Us and bought a board and brought it back to Chris’s house (I had already researched the precautions to use, while using a Ouija board.) We sat down with the board in his room with the lights turned off, a white candle, and a pure silver coin (to put on the board). I started off trying to be the medium and tried contacting a spirit but it didn’t work; we had forgotten to warm up the board and we decided to step it up a notch (since it was day-time) and try using the board in his pitch black closet. So the session started in the closet and for the first time the planchette moved.
We asked:
Question – “Is there any spirits among us that would be willing to speak with us?” Answer – “Yes”
Question – “What is your name?” Answer – “Bradley”
Question – “How old are you?” Answer – “34″
Question – “What would you like to talk to us about?” Answer – “Dea…” I immediately stopped the planchette thinking it was a demon, and said: “Now I want to say goodbye and would like for you to say goodbye also.” The planchette then moved to “goodbye”. Our first encounter was creepy, we kept asking “are you moving the planchette” and the answer was always “Nah dude, I’m not, I swear.”
After the encounter we cleansed the planchette (I feel more comfortable when we do that) like always. Later that day we decided to give it another go and this time a spirit that happened to be female named Gabe contacted us. Chris and I went through the motions asking it questions about itself (the spirit announced itself as a good spirit but it could have been lying) and finally got to the question: “is there something specific you would like to talk to us about?” The letters rang out like a bullet D E A T H, I was sick of death coming up in the conversations so we went with it… we asked:
Question – “Whose death would you like to talk about?” Answer – “Steven.” (that’s me) (I left the room and left my friend to find out the rest because I was nervous) He asked:
Question – “What about Stevens death?” Answer – “Horrifying.”
Question – “How?” Answer – “Car Crash.”
Question – “When?” Answer – “48 years.”
At first I did not want to know these answers but the curiosity got the best of me and I asked him what it said. We went back in to the closet and shut down the board but when we asked the spirit to say goodbye it responded with “NO” so we had to close the board up without the spirits cooperation and cleansed the planchette. This session left me with many questions: Was it a demon? Will it come true? Did it have other things to say? These things are still floating around in my head and I cant figure it out; I want it to have been a demon just screwing with me, but I guess we will never know until the day I die.

wow that’s scary… if it was something nice and honest, it would have said goodbye… since it said no, I assume it wasn’t nice, and something not nice is going to try to scare you. Now, it’s in your head, running around.. When you’re 48 you’re gonna be freaked out all the time unless you just forget this, let it go.. and live.
Do not dwell on it; 90% of the time, they are just messing with you. I know it’s hard to shake it off, but really- don’t give them that kind of power over you! Others may disagree with me, but not everything you encounter on a Ouija is a demon. But the spirits are generally chaotic, confused, or amoral.

This happened to me, and it was scary as all heck, but it was just trying to scare me. I had spirits tell me I’d die tomorrow. I’m still here! Total mind games. Just be positive, be strong, and put down the Ouija board and back slowly away.
Your precautions were sensible, but it’s not worth it. You really don’t know what you’re inviting into your life.

i think it was just messing with you. used an ouija board when i was like 14 and it told me i was going to die when i was 20. now im 25! so unless you think im a ghost… wOoOo

Ummm they’re dead, it’s kind of the first thing on their mind. A littl ewierd they wanted to talk about your death. Seems a common theme in ouijas but as far as death is concerned, usually spirits you can communicate seem to be there for a reaosn and they want to talk about it.
I question why Ouija boards always want to talk about a users death. I am actually not doubting you. I could have been there with you and seen the planchette move all on its own, I would question the force behind it.

thats scary. i dont know what i would have done if that happen to me. ive been curious to mess with that but ive been told that if u mess with that or witch craft it comes back to you 3x harder. ive gone to get my hand and cards read about 3x. the last time i went to a man and he told me that my parents were gonna have economic problems which they did they lost their home, but thankfully have a nice 2 story home in TJ. and another was that there was a river and that there was people and they were all sad. well my grandpa died 4 months ago. the other was that i was gonna have a baby and that my boyfriend was gonna get us a place to live but that things wouldnt work out and he would break up with me and leave me and my son. well i do have a 3 month boy i live with my boyfriend. we havent got married but are planning to later no rush. i could promise u he wont leave his son. his son is everything to him and hes overprotected with him. Maybe you should go get cleaned or get your cards read. but then again i got my cards read when i was 18 years old and i am 22 years old right now and i have lived day by day thinking and asking whats gonna happen if all he said was true. so i dont know what to say. Sorry you gotta live with that question in mind especially when your 48. maybe it was a demon that was trying to scare you. Think positive.
i agree with xGod chickx. we should go around trying to talk to the dead. there are reasons why we arent able to speak to them . we arent aloud to know the future you have to live day by day until ur time is up. i know we all are curious to know whats out there but we should leave them alone. if everyone knew when they were gonna die and how im sure most would be scared to get out of there house or even be in there house ou would go crazy.
A friend of mine was using a ouija board the improper way by trying to contact a spirit and was also told that she was going to die the next year. This was about 15 years ago and she is still alive and well.

Seek God and pray he is there to help protect you and don’t mess with ouija boards I never messed with one never will. I know my place. back away from the board no more using it those boards are for pple who know how to use or handle one. ouija boards are bad news.

You did a foolish thing by using that God-forsaken Ouija Board, for we as a people shall truly perish from a lack of knowledge. All the spirits that you are talking to on the Ouija Board are evil demons who pretend to be spirits of the dead, you mustn’t use Ouija Boards! They are evil and you are in grave danger by using them. I wish I could lend you my wisdom in this situation, you are like a moth to the flame!
the dead is meant to be dead for a reason. dont contact em
if you did research on precautions… the first thing you would have done is NOT TO PLAY with it nor ask about death about you or your friends
