I have been living in my house for a little over a year now. The first night my family moved into the house, my sister, who was seven at the time, stood in the middle of the dining room crying and saying that she saw something, but refused to tell us what she had seen. Other than that, nothing happened for a while.

After a while, I felt the need to close and lock the basement door, and check it every time I walked by. We later found an axe in it.

Every night since I’ve lived here, I’ll wake up to some sort of continuous noise, whether it be tapping on the walls or my mirror, or tiny footsteps. Many nights, I’ll hear fast-paced whispering coming from the side of my bed, near my closet.

A couple of months ago, I was in my room watching the TV, and I saw a little girl first standing at the door. Well, she wasn’t exactly little- she was rather tall, and I could only see the upper half of her torso, but I knew that she was a child. She appeared in front of my bed, and ever since then, I know that she stands in the hallway, waiting for me to open my door.

A few months after that, I was sitting on my bed and I saw a man in a bright white shirt rolling around on the floor near my then-open closet door. He seemed to be struggling to move, and eventually made it into the closet and was gone. I keep the closet door closed now.

Just a bit after that, I was trying to sleep on my couch rather early in the morning, and I kept hearing something coming from the steps. I ignored it, until, very clearly, a voice said, “You’re in my hell now.” I believe it was the little girl, as I only saw the man that once.

Recently, I was sitting in my room around midnight with my door open, and something was whispering. When I told them to be quiet, the little girl talked even louder, and when I stood to shut my door, she was sitting on the steps, and said, “Hey, hey there.”

What might this be? Do you think they’re dangerous, in any way? Thank you.
