Ghost Stories & Paranormal Encounters

First off, I wanted to tell you about the “hauntings” I think I’ve experienced. I’m not sure what it is, but I can’t seem to think of any other explanations.

Well, back in my old house, I think I was about 12 or 13 years old, I often stayed up late, I was in that period when I thought it was really smart and cool. So, I watched TV, sitting on an office chair with wheels really near the TV. I didn’t have my lenses on, so I had to stay close to it. When I went to bed, I turned off the lights and forgot to put the chair back to it’s original place, so it was standing in the middle of the room.

My bedroom was wall-to-wall with our living room, so I could hear people walking in the stairs, people walking around in the bedroom and so on. At 3 am or something, half an hours after I’ve went to bed, I suddenly woke up cause of this loud noise, like someone stumbles over the office chair. I could hear the wheels rolling over the tiles, loud and clear! I get out of bed and go out to the living room. There I see the chair in the corner of the room, and the lights are on. I was home alone, no one had came down the stairs from the entrance upstairs. I didn’t understand at that time what it was, I actually didn’t think about it.

Another time, I’ve couldn’t sleep cause I was so excited about the vacation we were going on the next day. So I was in bed, reading a book, when suddenly I heard like these loud footsteps over my head, from the 2nd floor. I thought it was my dad or something, even though it was really late, about the same time as the last time something happened. The steps stopped, and I didn’t think that much about it, and even though I was a little paranoid, I continued reading. Maybe 10 seconds after the steps stopped, it was like this knife fell down to the floor, right above my head where the steps had stopped. After this, it went completely silent in our house, no one picking the knife thing up, or footsteps that said someone was moving. I was freaked out, and asked my parents when they went to bed that night. They said they went about 11 pm. But still, I didn’t think about spirits or ghost as an option.

The next thing that happened made me so scared, I just had to consider spirits. We had this private garden, no one could go in there without making any noise. Well, I was again, laying in my bed, couldn’t sleep. I had problems with sleeping, something made me stay awake. So I was laying there, texting with a friend of mine, when suddenly three loud knocks at my window caught my attention. I was really scared, but I went over to the window to watch out. Our garden was empty. If someone had knocked, they wouldn’t be able to hide or get away before I got to the window.

This is the three scariest things that happened, but I also heard noises and things digital things turned on by themselves. I later found out that someone else in our neighborhood had medium at their house, because their little daughter couldn’t sleep, and when they asked why, she said that she was afraid of the skeleton standing in the door, looking at her.

The medium told them that the whole area of our neighborhood had a interesting history, and that’s why not only that house were haunted, but the whole area. That could explain what happened at our old house.
Something I’ve also found out later on, was that if you’re not getting rid of your Ouija board after you use it, burn it or whatever, it can attract spirits etc.

Well, I’m convinced there’s something out there!
