Haunted Midway Hotel

Every year my mum’s side of the family would have an annual family Christmas Party. Well, one year in 2003, we had it in a hotel called the Midway Hotel (Best Western) in New Berlin, Wisconsin.

Like I said in the previous story, the Creepy Haunted Antique Porcelain Doll, my cousin Vanessa and my sister Hannah are like best friends and we all get along quite well. Any way, I was walking around looking for the game room (because that was where my sister and cousin had been). I was standing on a stair way leading down to where the pool was, and I saw this man in a very formal suit walking towards the doors (they were those swinging doors).

I was assuming that there was a wedding reception going on, until he turned around. His face was all deteriorated and he moved his fingers as if he wanted me to follow him. He turned back around and walked straight through the doors, there was no movement of the doors.

I ran so fast up the stairs I fell down and ripped open my jeans and gashed up my leg. Eventually I found my sister and cousin and told them the story. We watched our backs for the rest of the night in that haunted hotel.

Scary! I am glad nothing else happened to you! You know sometimes in those large places people do die or it was a place of such a happy memory that their spirit comes back to visit it- a residule haunt is what most people call it… other than the nasty deteriorating face… I would have thought this was a man who was happy here in life… what CREEPY CREEPY story!!! OMG ewew!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
