Ghost Picture From The Haunted Georgetown Hotel

Posted on December 12, 2007

Ghost Picture - Georgetown Haunted HotelIt isn’t often that we find a good ghost picture to add to the site, but we just received a really amazing looking picture from the HPI paranormal investigation team of California.

The team was investigating the haunted Georgetown Hotel and one of the staff captured this photo of a ghostly figure which seems to be looking out a window.

The picture was shot by Holly DeLaughter on Dec. 8, 2007, so it is barely a few days old as we publish it here on True Ghost Tales.

The picture you see here is scaled down. Visit the link below to see the full size ghost picture.

I invite everyone to return to this page and post a comment after you check out this ghost picture. Let everyone know what you think about it.

Well I thought that I would drop a few to tell you what I thought about this photo…

    WOW!!!! Nice picture!!

To my eye, it looks a s though the figure is a woman maybe with what looks like to be one hand on each shoulder, and whats with the neck???

All around to me it is a pretty convincing photo!!

Congrats on the photo that will allow a more serious aspect to your gift!! I am so excitied for you!!

LOOKING CLOSER AT THE PHOTO AT ZOOM LEVEL THERE SEEMS TO BE A MAN STANDING BEHIND THIS LADY WITH HIS HANDS ON HER SHOULDERS. I CAN MAKE OUT A FAINT IMAGE OF HIS FACE BUT NOT AS GOOD AS HERS.I HAVE LOOKED AT MANY PHOTOS ON MANY WEBSITES OF GHOST PICS AND THIS LOOKS TO BE A VERY GENUINE PICTURE. GOOD WORK!

This is probably one of the best pictures I’ve seen for any ghost. Pretty convincing..
Don’t know what else to say.

I have been to the Georgetown Hotel on many occasions. I have eaten and drank there more times than I can count and spent many hours there as well. I have never spent the night however but I didn’t need to, to have a ghost encounter. There is a apparition of a woman in the ladies restroom of this place who stands near the sink and watches. She seems not to want you to leave her alone there and sometimes plays games with the sink or the towel dispenser. I have seen and felt this myself as well as Sue the owner of the Miner’s Club down the street who often drinks there. Sincerely yours, Margaret Barton-Wahl

I was raised on the bear creek ranch, about 3 miles from Georgetown, that was back in the 60s …The hotel used to be owned by George Wiley, and his wife, whos name i cant remember. I was in Love with their Son, but, he never knew i was alive…I am saddened to see the chipping paint, this hotel was a mees even back in the early 60s and im surprised to see it is still standing…I do not recognize the people in the photo, but, back than everybody knew it was haunted, often ghosts haunt drinking establishments.
