I’ve had much experience in the paranormal in my life not necessarily by choice. Although, once it became apparent that things were not going to be isolated one time episodes I started invoking it. The first thing that “jumped out at me” (sorry pun intended and you’ll see why)was when I was about 14.
A friend and I were sitting in my room on the floor and I was learning how to play some Pink Floyd songs on the guitar. We were sitting Indian Style facing each other trading off the guitar. Now, I know this is going to sound weird, and it does make some sense in the end. However, most things these things do don’t seem to have any rhyme or reason to them. Things like overturning cat bowls and throwing loafs of bread across the kitchen! I mean, like what the heck is that trying to communicate?
Now keep in mind this is the very first time either one of us ever saw something move by itself. I was playing the guitar and looked over and saw Tom’s pack of cigarettes (Yes, I know, We were very young and smoked) standing up on the very bottom corner and the lid opened up revealing the cigarettes inside. I was still playing the song without realizing that wasn’t supposed to happen and was apparently violating the laws of physics! Tom looked down at them also and we just stared at it for a good 5 or 6 seconds and then simultaneously realized that’s not right!
As soon as we both realized it fear shot up our spines and the pack closed and fell to the floor. It was right at that point something flew between us from one corner of the room to the other. It moved pretty fast and we weren’t real sure what we saw. We both agreed it appeared to be a playing card but neither was sure. Adrenalin was running high and we were actually pretty scared but excited too! I went over to the origin of the object and did indeed find a deck of cards sitting on the speaker. We used the 52 card deck for Divination like Tarot and other uses. So I went over to the destination corner and indeed found a single playing card that WAS indeed from the deck on the other side of the room. The card was the 2 of Spades. When I looked up the definition for the 2 of Spades I found…
“A stranger passing by with interest of your affairs!”
True story and the very first of a long line of really weird things that has many many witnesses.
