When I was in foster care in 2007, I was sleeping like a normal child would early in the morning, but for some very odd reason, I woke up. When I opened my eyes, I looked up and that’s when I saw a dark figure standing next to my bed, it freaked me out so much, I threw the covers over my head to cover this up, I stayed that way for two minutes, when I felt it was safe, I took it off and it was gone.
Something that was scarier that same moment, when it disappeared, I looked next to me and I swore I saw my little sister lying right next to me, smiling, I repeated the cover again, when I took it off, she was gone as well. After those two mini-events happened, I turned over facing the wall and fell asleep again.
The second encounter was my third day back home. I was in the kitchen making myself a midnight snack like I normally do, when I was making it, something told me to go ask my mom something (she was asleep at the time), when I did, once again, I saw that same dark figure standing right next to her door, I stared at it for a brief second, but I turned away to make it go away, and it did just that.
Both times, it looked just like the photo I saw on the Shadow Creatures page (Shadow Creatures), but the one I saw didn’t have the spiked ends on the outside of it, it was a near straight line, but with the same exact hat.
I told my mom and older sister about this, and they both told me I encountered a demon. Seeing I’m Christian, they suggested I pray about it, and this Sunday is just what I’m going to do.
Since those two encounters, it hasn’t happened for some strange reason, and I hope it never does again.

You don’t have to wait until Sunday to pray. Prayer isn’t just for in church, it is for every day, every hour if need be. I don’t believe big barney’s comment about being plagued by it for the rest of your life, because I saw a shadow person ( i would describe it as looking like the Undertaker(a wrestler) in my backyard ONCE and that was probably 12 years ago, so don’t listen to that!

OMG OMG!!! My brother and I saw I dark figure with a hat standing in the doorway of our bathroom when we were playing hide and seek in the dark wit our cousins. We closed our eyes but he was still there Then we watched him walk out of the bathroom. I followed out of amazment but I turned the corner and didn’t see him..
oh well maybe next time. Oh but your sister part. That was freaky
