Poltergeist Activity on Old Farm Stead

Last night within my home my daughter (14 y/o) and myself experienced what I do believe was paranormal activity.

The home was built in 2010 on an old farm stead after a tornado leveled the original home. We have been living there since 12/2010. It started yesterday afternoon, when my daughter was taking a nap. Upon waking up about 4 pm to a noise, she discovered the kitchen chairs knocked over and placed around the living room and hallway. A jar of jelly was taken from the kitchen and placed on the living room floor. She had texted me to the events, and of course, I didn’t believe her.

When I got home from work I saw what she had described to me. I picked up the chairs and the jelly and put them back in their place. We then went to town. Upon returning back home, a pan of bread was placed in the middle of my kitchen floor. …

The Poltergeist Phenomenon

Lately I have been reading a book about poltergeists. It is titled The Poltergeist Phenomenon an In-Depth Investigation Into Floating Beds, Smashing Glass, and Other Unexplained Disturbances.

If you are interested in learning about poltergeists this is one of the best books you will find on the subject. It is full of case studies and interviews about various poltergeist activity.

One story/case I thought was very interesting was referred to as The Demon of Olive Hill.

In Olive Hill, Kentucky two paranormal investigators saw objects being levitated in a home. The family who lived there wouldn’t allow the researchers to stay because they feared that they had brought demons along with them.

The story began in 1968 at the home of John and Ora Callihan in Olive Hill.

I live in a small village in England. Me and my family moved in to our house last October and since then strange things have been happening to us.

A couple of weeks in to the new school term me and my sister lost our reading books. We got worried that we would be told off so we spent over 3 hours looking for them both; We practically turned the house upside down. Poltergeist Activity in Ocean Beach

Ocean Beach on the outskirts of San Diego… This was the place where I experienced most poltergeist activity.

One morning I found that the end of the belt on my robe was wet, so I threw it over my shower curtain rod to dry.  Later I hopped in the tub to take my shower, closed the shower curtain, noted the robe belt hanging there and pitched it over the rod onto the floor.  After my shower I put on my robe, looked around for the belt which I expected to be on the floor, but one end was threaded through a belt loop on my robe!

Poltergeist in the Fan

I was 18 years old at the time of this event and I currently lived with guardians at the time. All of the family members there have had some dealings with paranormal or unexplainable events happening to them inside of that house.

I can’t remember the exact time but I know it was dark outside, if I had to guess I’d place it around 10 – 11 pm.  The house was empty except for my friend Rudy and I who were upstairs in my bedroom sitting around shooting the breeze.  We were talking about some kids in our high school when the electronic fan I placed in my window made a beeping sound and let it’s twin fans whirr. Poltergeist or What?

My story took place when I was about 10 or 11 years old, but I think it may have actually started a little earlier. When I was 8 years old, my parents, my younger sister, and I moved in with my grandmother. My grandfather had passed away earlier that year, leaving my grandmother lonely and needing help keeping the bills straight. We were there to make things a little easier for her.

The house was(is) an old brick townhouse with only 2 bedrooms on the top floor and a bedroom in the basement. My grandmother kept her room on the top floor, my parents took the basement room, leaving me in the other top floor bedroom. My younger sister, who was 2 or 3 at the time, was supposed to share my room but ended up sleeping with my grandmother most nights.

Believe it or not even being a medium, not all of my experiences are dealings with dead folks. I have found I have some other abilities as well. This story is about an ability I hope I never bring forth again.

I find that during emotionally charged times in my life, the ‘activity’ increases. Which is a fairly common thing, really. This particular series of events was somewhat concerning for me though. It started with a knocking that seemed to be coming from my walls. And seemed to follow me wherever I went. Some knocks were faint, but others were down right undeniable. Was this a Poltergeist?

I am not sure what the exact translation of the word poltergeist is in Hindi language. But in one of the local languages there is a term called “bhanamati” which is almost the same but used in much wider perspective. The chain of events that I am going to narrate can be loosely related to the same term. Before I heard about the incidents and got involved, the situation had already become quite serious and was drawing a lot of attention.

The Breathing Poltergeist

The first house I lived in had many unexplainable happenings therefore makes me believe in ghosts. One night I heard breathing. I was about eight or nine, and I went near the garage door and the breathing grew louder but when I passed it, grew fainter. So then I thought that maybe it was an intruder inside our garage, So I went and told my dad that I heard breathing in the garage. I grabbed a baseball bat, my dad grabbed a hockey stick, and we both nervously turned on the light to the garage, but no one was there.

Poltergeist And The Evil Room

I had only heard about poltergeists a few times before, mostly in movies like ‘Beetlejuice’ and such but I had my first experience about a year ago.

I had moved up into my sister’s room when she had moved out. It was a large room and we had only lived in this house for about a year now. The owners that lived in the house before us had told us that it was used as a clinic/hospital. Which was easy to believe because we always found apothecary bottles, tubes, and such outside in the yard. The Lady Under My Couch

As a child I always had a huge imagination, my parents seemed to know it very well. I often got in trouble for “making up” such odd ball lies and stories as excuses.

One night, it was around 10:00, long after I should have been in  bed since I was at such a young age (six). I decided to crawl into bed so that I would not get caught by my parents. Possible Poltergeist Experience

This is my story of my brothers entity or possible poltergeist. I had just come home from North Carolina to be at my late grandmother’s funeral. The following happened at approximately 3 AM on a Thursday morning so it was during a morning which supposedly has a designated demon during the witching hour, at the time I didn’t know this. My brother and I wanted to rid the spirit that had in the past caused: White Noise phenomena, sleep paralysis to both of us on numerous counts, called for the both of us from another room in different house, and inability to control body parts while totally aroused followed by Recurrent Spontaneous Psychokinesis.

At 3 AM we called upon the spirit to make it’s self known. At that moment the lit candles flickered, a cold presence swept past us, and while on channel 33 the television turned off by it’s self.
