Ghost Stories & Paranormal Encounters

I was always a fan of the paranormal and I’ve always wondered if you could contact a friend after they have passed on. But before I share my story let me give a little background. Me and my friend had first met in sixth grade and we both played drums. But in 7th grade he changed schools so I never saw him again until freshman year. All 4 years of high school we played in the band and on the drumline where we were all very close, like our own small family. We graduated in May of this year but sadly 3 months after we graduated he was killed in a car accident. Of course we were all devastated and after his funeral is when the activity started.

To make me feel better my best friend always took me to our old high school’s football games,and also because her boyfriend still played. But on this night it was different while at the game we started to hear thunder and felt a light rain. After our friends passing we started associating the thunderstorms as him playing the drums in haven and letting us know that he was ok.

They had to postpone the game while they decided if they were going to cancel it or not. So me and my friend went back to her truck to wait. While there we realized that the thunder and lightning was getting worse and it started raining. Then we found out the game as cancelled so she started the drive to take me home. We thought the highway would be the quickest way to get there so she could get home before it got worse. But while we were driving I couldn’t help but notice that she was speeding and the rain was getting worse. So I told her that she should slow down and thinking of our friend I was also concerned for our safety. But she assured me that it wasn’t raining when he crashed so we would be fine. Just then the rain picked up a lot more and thinking of him again I said, “I think *name* wants you to slow down. He wants us to make it home safe.” So she says, “Sorry *name* but we have to hurry and get home.” And as she says that the rain picked up even more! So I told her to slow down. He’s telling us we need to. And right as she slowed down the rain stopped completely! I cant help but think that he was really looking out for us that night to make sure we made it home safe and I’m really grateful for it
