Ghost Stories & Paranormal Encounters

Since I was a little girl I have encountered many weird happenings, but there was nothing like this one. It was fall of 2009, first there was clocks falling of the wall, bottle caps that just pops off by there selves, boxes that were flat on there bottoms tipping over on its own. Well, it gets a little stranger.

I was just getting ready for bed when I heard a loud thump in the kids room. I go to check and my daughter, who was just two at the time, looked as if she was thrown out of her bed to the other side of the room. She stood up not knowing why she was on the floor.

One morning I wake up and I see in the reflection of my washer my son, who was three playing in his room, so I call him I get no response. I call him again and the reflection is dancing. My husband comes from the living room and asks “why are you yelling?” When I told him I was calling for our son my husband says to me “he’s asleep”. The reflection had on red and when I went to check on my son he was wearing a white t-shirt.

Multiple times I would be sound asleep then wake up gasping for air and panicking like my life was being threatened. I couldn’t sleep without light or with the door closed not even alone. My newborn son was sleeping in his crib in our room, it was late at night and that night I didn’t leave a light on. I was fast asleep when I woke up to my son crying I opened my eyes to see a full figured shadow walk from my sons crib to across the room and disappeared. I jumped out of bed and turned the light on. My husband was fast asleep. I stayed up that night praying.

We moved a month later I still don’t sleep in the dark, I find myself waking up grasping for air and panicked. And, my kids are sleeping better with the lights on.
