Ghost Stories & Paranormal Encounters

This story is a true encounter that happened to me, my older brother and older cousin.

I’ve always been interested in ghosts and the paranormal. I love horror stories and horror films. So one day, when my older cousin Sam, who’s about 16, came down from his house in Yorkshire to see us all. We were all at my aunties house. My older brother, my cousins (most of them anyway), two of my aunties and my uncle all came.

After a while, my cousin Sam, who’s probably watched every horror film around and my older brother, Toby, a football and sport fanatic, decided to go up in my auntie’s room. So we did, and we shut all the curtains, blinds, turned off the lights and shut the door. It was pitch black in the room. All three of us sat on the bed in a triangle shape, no knees or arms touching, and had my mom’s phone in the middle of us turned onto static. We also had Sam’s iPod on record.

In White Noise, the objective is to ask questions and wait for 20 seconds before someone else asks a question. After a minute, you play the voice record back and forth and see if you can hear any voices of whispers. After about 2 or 3 times of constant questioning, the phone suddenly turned from static to a radio station like Capital FM, brmb, Heart or Radio 1.

No one touched that phone or any buttons to change that channel. When I said it was pitch black in the room, I could still see everybody’s faces and fingers from the iPod’s and the phone’s light.

I don’t know if this was the work of a spirit, demon or poltergeist or just a dodgy phone, but the phone was brand new at the time. Please leave some comments on your opinion.
