A Waking Nightmare

I don't know if something is following us or we just keep picking the wrong houses, but this is my story.

My family and I used to live in a four plex, upstairs. I heard a story about the guy that used to live there that fell off the top balcony because he was drunk, but I didn't believe! Well one night, after dinner, my friend and I were standing in the kitchen talking and laughing. My back was faced to the counter and she was standing near the stove. There was some dishes on the counter, and also the bowl that had the rice in it and the big spoon we served with sitting in it. We were talking and all of a sudden my friend grabbed my arm and yelled "OH MY GOD" and she was looking behind me. I turned just in time to see the spoon that was sitting in the bowl flipping in the air and landed on the floor. I asked her what the heck just happened and she said that it looked like someone hit the spoon handle and it started flipping in the air. We told my mom but she laughed like she didn't believe us.

A few nights later I went to bed early because I had to wake up early the next morning. I had a weird dream: My mom, aunt, little sister and I all moved into an old house. All the old furniture was still there and it was nice enough so we decided to keep it. My aunt was cleaning the dining room while I was cleaning the living room. There was a pot full of dying leaves hanging from the archway into the living room with a rug underneath to catch the leaves. When I bent down to pick up the rug I seen a little boys face appear in the rug. I told my aunt and she told me to get rid of it because it might hold a spirit, so I put it in the garbage bag.

I decided to sleep in the living room that night because there was a big bed there and it looked clean. We all decided to go to bed and as I was getting cozy, I heard a woman's voice coming from the dining room telling me to breath. I looked over to were the voice was coming from and told her I was breathing. Then she said it again and she was coming closer. She was hovering over me telling me to breath and I was trying to tell her I was breathing but she wouldn't listen. Then she reached out to me and I woke up.

When I woke up, I was trying to move to get up but I was stuck, like someone was holding me down. I also couldn't open my eyes, and I could still hear the woman telling me to breath. I told her again that I was breathing (this time I was wide awake) and I felt all the pressure come off me and I sat up in bed. I felt like Jell-O and I fell back onto my pillow, wondering if that was all a dream or not.

I had to get up and ready so I crawled to the end of my bed (that's were my dresser was) but for some reason I couldn't get off the bed and I kept looking over near my window. Three times I tried, then finally I was able to. I obviously told my mom what had happened and she just thought it was really weird.

The next morning, I went in to my little sisters room to wake her up (I always say her name in a kind of whisper so I don't scare her awake) and when I said her name she bolted up in bed and she actually looked scared. I asked her what was wrong and she told me that when she was getting ready for bed, she heard someone whisper her name at the end of her bed and I sounded exactly like that someone. We told our mom about it and she decided to go around and bless the windows, doors, and mirrors.

Nothing happened for awhile, until one night my mom told me she could feel someone watching her this time. I didn't feel anything, but she said it stood near one of the pictures that was on the wall. (It's one of those pictures with a mirror image) We figured maybe whoever it was was mad that she tried getting rid of it.

We moved out of that place because we didn't really like it and the lease was finally finished. Now we live in another house, and we got a dog. Now the dog is acting really weird and sometimes loves to go into the basement, and sometimes whimpers away from it. Most of the time when I go down there to do my laundry I can feel someone staring really hard at me in the corner where the Christmas stuff is.

Our dog sometimes goes in to my little sisters room and stares under her bed, runs into my room and stares at my closet or stands in between my door and the hallway staring into the bathroom, looks at my mom and dads' closed bedroom door and whimpers, (we usually open the door to show him nobody's in there) or lies on the bathroom floor and shakes. It's really weird and kind of creeping us out.

There has been more things that have happened but I'll submit those later.
