Most of us have experienced that strange feeling of familiarity known as deja vu. It makes us feel as though we had experienced the same thing or seen the same thing before yet we know (or think we do) that we haven’t.
What do you think it is that causes this strange feeling?

Hi David
Idk and have wondered the same myself. I just had it happend yesterday but the weird thing was i remember the experience but in some odd way it changed. From experiencing it it was the same up to a point but the end i remembered didn’t happen which i thought was odd. Sometimes i can experience it daily sometimes it lasts a week, a month then it will go away for years….it comes in spurts its odd. I just wanted you to know your not alone with this
Hello David,
It could be that we slip forward in time when we are sleeping, and check out the location, or situation, we are going to face the next day .. whether we realise it or not. Time ‘is’ an illusion that we all live. In spirit there is only ‘here’ and ‘now’.
People who have precognitive dreams, without realising they are doing it .. including not remembering the dream when they wake up .. can experience this also.
Love & Peace

(Ooooh! Second Deja Vu question in a row … or, is this the first? lol!)
Hi David
The medical profession say that the information received from one eye has a slight delay over the other eye. Therefore, each eye is feeding slightly different information to the brain. The consequence of this is we ‘feel’ like we’ve seen the image before. And indeed, we have – we saw and registered it in one eye before the other eye (according to our brain).
That does not, however, explain daja vu in dreams. That must be some other ‘information delay’ from other senses going on, in dream state.
Of course, the medical profession can not explain ‘predictive’ deja vu – being, when you know BEFORE either eye actually has the chance to see anything, that you’ve experienced something before. The explanation for that is more likely to be along the lines of what Ama stated above.
