Ghost Stories & Paranormal Encounters

Now I have to say that I am afraid of everything before I go on with my story. Witnessing this has me terrified although it may be nothing to whoever reads this.

My boyfriend and I had grown used to sleeping together so when he had to leave town for a little while we slept on the phone together. He was gone for a few weeks and every single night we would sleep together on the phone.

One night we were talking and then I started to fall asleep, almost instantly. I wasn’t even tired, I just randomly fell asleep. I don’t know how long I was asleep. When I woke up to the sound of someone whispering my name. It wasn’t my boyfriend’s voice, or any voice I have ever heard. It was very very deep. So I woke up in a panic and couldn’t move. I just looked around and could see nothing odd.

My boyfriend was awake and started screaming toward me. He was accusing me of having someone over. He told me that he heard some “man” whispering my name for the last 20 minutes. He also informed me that he heard a lot of moving around. I hadn’t moved and couldn’t move. I woke up in the same position that I fell asleep in. After convincing him about what really happened he came home.

The next day I debated whether or not I should tell anyone else. I felt like no one would believe me or I’d just be told it was nothing. So I finally broke down and told my mom. After she laughed in my face I told her I was going home since I didn’t get much sleep.

On the third day, I got a message from my mom saying she needed to talk to me. So I took my lunch at work and she said the same thing happened to her. She thought she was dreaming and she heard someone whispering her name in a very deep voice. She said then she woke up and had her eyes closed and she still heard it.

I haven’t heard anything lately. But it was too weird and awkward to just ignore.
