We had the Same Dream About a Ghost

Posted on August 5, 2011

Every morning is the same.I wake up,and share my dream with my fiancé.I don’t know why,but most of the time I dream,i tend to have nightmares. It happened since as long as I could remember and I actually remember nightmares from when I was four.

‘The dream’- I had left my mom’s house to go meet up my boyfriend at the bus stop. When I get there I realize he’s not there. So I decided to go back home (this was a haunted house I use to live in when I was 15), my mom and my two brothers where there waiting for me. Right when I got there it got dark. The only light in the house was from my room,so we all decided to sleep in there. I remember my mom was in the middle and I was on the edge. (this is what’s happening in the dream.)

She wakes us up and tells us she hears voices in the other rooms; I listen but I can’t hear anything. After I go back to sleep, my brother then wakes me up and tells me he hears voices in the other room too. I cant hear anything for some reason. I get up and make my way to the bathroom. In the dream, I was in a trance state the whole time everyone else kept hearing voices. I was asleep but awake. Every sound echoed through my head. I heard giggling followed by a gun shot and I ran back to the room. My mom got so scared and we are all sitting up. I look at the window and see a pair of eyes starring at me. I scream! But he runs away.

We all ran into the kitchen and were crouching against the door. I started panicking and out of nowhere these two kids come running towards us. I soon found myself alone. The kids stayed there looking at me and I hear bang bang bang! Their dad came stomping his feet and banging the walls. He is angry and screaming at me the whole time. He is yelling, ‘it was a mistake!’ And other stuff I couldn’t make out. He pulled out a gun, and points it at the girl she is crying saying, ‘no daddy! no!’ She and her little brother get behind me and he says something about not wanting to go to hell for what he did. They were all ghosts. I know they were.

I told him, ‘you are dead. The only thing you could do is go to the light. Regardless of what you did. Only God can decide where you stand. You cant take the kids! Leave and never come back!’ There was a bright light and he vanishes.

The girl asks me if I can help them find the light so they can rest in peace. I tell her I can try. ‘Close your eyes and focus on the light. Its going to be very bright and when you hear God calling out your name, run towards him and the light.’ Her brother left, but for some reason she falls back and I catch her. She says she cant find the light because all she can see is darkness.

So this whole time I’m holding her and I tell her again, ‘close your eyes and look for the light. Once you do you’ll be able to rest in peace. Look for God.’ Then she collapses.

When my boyfriend told me about his dream I literally said what? We had the exact same dream. Haunted house, angry father, and the two kids. Could it be possibly we were visited by the same spirits in our dream. Has this ever happened to anyone? Thank you so much for reading.

    Hi Mari kitty ledezma

My other half and I often share dreams. The premise is the same, even if the details are slightly different.

I put this down to telepathy, which often happens between people who are close, emotionally, to one another.

A.j thank you for replying . It’s happen before with my brother too,but howcome its only nightmares?

I do beleive you ,but we were just creeped out . And especially because this dream took place in a haunted house i use to live in.

    Hi yu Mari kitty ledezma

Yes, I can quite understand why this has freaked you all out. If I go to ring a friend, only for the phone to ring and it is that friend on the other end, that freaks me out a little too.

Why share nightmares, more often? Well, we only seem to remember the most bizaar or emotionally challenging of dreams. We have many more than we remember, but they don’t make such an impact therefore, we do not recall them in our conscious mind

    Telepathy is an odd experience.

In the case of myself and my other half, it seems to be that one comes up the premiss, then the other one adds something to it. When we analyse the dreams, we seem to come up with a common denominator – usually something emotionally connect to the dream, rather than the visual scenario of the dream.

The house where you used to live has obviously played on your minds for many years. There may be certain specific things or memories that you associate with that house. It could be that the house ends up being a symbol for a specific emotional response over something else. Something which might be totally unconnected to the actual house.

Keep a record of the dreams, as well as the date in which it was drempt and shared. Note how many people shared the same experience. Then try to find out other, seemingly unconnected, elements in your lives now which trigger a similar response to those experienced in the dream – fear? anger? hope? etc. Note these too.

After a while, you might start seeing a pattern. It might be that the children represent innocence? Or they might represent you? One hearing voices, whilst another can not, might mean someone is keeping a secret?? Not being able to find the light, might be a guilty conscience which is holding someone back from spiritual growth?? Only you guys know your family history and what is going on in your current lives. But, with a bit of detective work, I’m sure you’ll solve this very curious case.
