We Both Saw the Native Indian Chief

Posted on December 19, 2011

Hi there, I am hoping someone can help me out, on a sighting that my cousin and I had about 31 years ago which we both swear by it even to today for we both saw it the same time.

When I was 11 and my cousin 7 we both decided to go outside to the back yard and open field in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan Canada at about 11:30 am to play. In the open filed there is a hill with only a train track that runs south east, which turns into an overpass were vehicles can drive under. I can’t remember if its used or not. As the both of use ran out the back door and through the back yard to the open field, we both stopped and look up on the hill where the tracks are. We were both shocked and scared to see a full dressed native American Indian, with full head dress and feathers to the ground. He was standing with his arms crossed and you could see all the detailed dressing the tan leather the colors but you could not see the feet. We both looked at each other in surprise about couple of seconds when we looked back he was gone!

About 5 years ago my husband and I visited the black hill and watched a native spiritual dance. I was very moved by this dance, it was though I wanted to dance and become something? (I did not know what). Now I seem to be very interested in their blessings, smudges, the after life, natural ways, animal spirit guides… Not only that I never like Turquoise stones and I now own two rings?

Please can someone help me on what this all means..

When Indians do those dances spiritual dances they draw up spirits. Possibly right before you came by there as a child, maybe there was a ceremony done there at one point in time. So possibly that is why you saw that Indian Chief ghost.

Shell, it feels to me that your Native past lives are reaching out to you, inviting you to become a spiritual warrior. Try reading Animal Speak by Ted Andrews and Medicine for the Earth by Sandra Ingerman–oh, and she has a new book called Awakening to the Spirit World That sounds like it might resonate with you.

Hi Shell , I have no answer for you but a similar story only it happened only a few years ago . One morning while walking our dog between 6 &7 AM I looked out towards the end of our back yard I watched a young Native American Male with long brown hair I estimate in his early 20s with a tan colored skirt like kind of dress on ( no kind of head dress or feathers at all ) walk off the side of the hill across the level yard towards the creek & just disappear . He was almost as clear as another person just slightly lighter , My dog & I was close to him & he never looked our way just straight ahead like he was on his way somewhere & was unaware of the surroundings this day . I was amazed & noted date time & details in my journal if those become important for anything . I’ve watched since that day but not seen him again .

I am on the internet also seeking information. At approximately at the age of twelve I awoke to see a native american in full dress standing in my bedroom doorway. We looked each other in the eyes for perhaps a minute. I was so scared I closed my eyes, when opened he was gone.
